I said all along the only thing keeping Clarke in LA was Doughty’s injury. The clock has struck midnight on him unfortunately.increased minutes for Burroughs and benching for Clarke, wow who ever could have predicted this
f*** this team
Dennis Bernstein but granted he said "likely" so we MIGHT be jumping the gun but would anyone be surprised?Who said Clarke was sitting?
I would assume he is playing if they go 7 defense, sitting if they go 6.Who said Clarke was sitting?
Naturally the correct answer is to trade Brandt Clarke.
He directly comments about Clarke's diminishing ice time and speculates he could be on the move.Am I the only one that took what Weekes wrote as…they’re trying to move someone else on D to make room for Clarke? Spence would be the only one that would make sense…and I’m not saying I want to move him…
Naturally the correct answer is to trade Brandt Clarke.
Pay attention to more than stats and you will see a kid shying away from contact, alligator arming pucks under pressure behind the net, getting beat from the wall to the crease, consistently getting outbattled in front of his net and giving the blueline on rushes with little effort.Makes sense since they're such good evaluators of talent /s
Here comes Vilardi-like gall inducing Clarke blossoming in some other org.
They need to trade him before they further destroy his value. Dumb mutherfers. Clown show. Kid started off close to PPG then got neutered by dinosaur Hiller in the press. Clarke playd 66 games last season - he's not hitting a physical wall, he's hitting a giant wall of ignorance.
Naturally the correct answer is to trade Brandt Clarke.
What disgruntled center is available? JT Miller? Zibanejad? Barzal? (NYI is doing better with him out of the lineup, possible Fiala syndrome)of course he's getting moved, read the tea leaves
Just like every other player they make quizzical remarks about in the media, Clarke was always next
Move him for what though? Whos available that would cost Clarke? I dont see anyone that would put the team over the top at the moment.of course he's getting moved, read the tea leaves

I did see the other day Buffalo is taking offers on Power…
Power-Doughty
Anderson-Gavrikov
Edmundson-Spence
Moverare
Some combo of Clarke, Danault, Moore, Fiala for Cozens and Power could be a win win for both teams
Who hasn't hit a wall the last month? Kempe? I think that's it.Pay attention to more than stats and you will see a kid shying away from contact, alligator arming pucks under pressure behind the net, getting beat from the wall to the crease, consistently getting outbattled in front of his net and giving the blueline on rushes with little effort.
He has clearly hit the wall. And he HAD to be called out early this year because his offense was coming at the expense of amateur shit show defense.
Growth isn't linear. He took a forward step this year to NHL regular, then hit a learning curve when he was getting abused in his own zone. Hiller was right to put the shackles on him so he can learn how to adapt his NHL offensive skill to meet the defensive requirements of his position. There has been absolutely nothing wrong with the way he has been handled this year.
Naturally the correct answer is to trade Brandt Clarke.
Haha man that would be a disaster. I hope its just hes just scratched for a game or two to give him a reset.nahhh, wayyy too young for blake
Clarke Greentree and two firsts for Karlsson and Rakell is more Blake's speed

Burroughs gives up just as much against as Clarke, only he is a black hole where offense & posession goes to die.Clarke desperately needs a breather that they haven't been able to afford to give him, and the ideal situation for bringing Doughty in is to go with 7d "just in case".
