Personnel, tactics and so forth. In general i am pretty happy BUT Lalonde…

…has unreasonable love for Ville Husso who has been flat out ass so far, probably our 3rd best goalie rn

…seems to think that Timeouts are like cell phone minutes that carry over from game to game. Either doesn’t take Timeouts when he should or seems to have them penciled in for late game situations exclusively which doesn’t help the team when it’s on its heels in the 1st or 2nd. So a lack in terms of awareness for situational play.

St. Louis doesn't really show emotion.

In general I f***ing hate when coaches won't play a bottom 6 player more in a game where said player is going. Rather every coach seemingly loves a bottom 6 player and overplays that player for no f***ing reason.

I don't know how much is coach and how much is players, but so often we sit back on leads... and then the opposition comes back to tie it. That and the lack of a full 60 minutes. There is a reason @VivaLasVegas and I always talk about the team on the golf course.
Well, I was about to post that Cassidy seems to prefer sitting back until the opponent scores.

Despite this site hating him, Keefe is a good coach. But I think all Leaf fans get annoyed when he comes out fired up after a game and calls out some stars and then the next day downplays his comments. He's done it a few times now, and I get our market eats it up and takes things and basically puts players struggling under the microscope so he tries to avoid that, but if it was true it was true.

I'm annoyed that he's still our coach.

Ya man, at this point I’m annoyed by his presence at the games, mostly.

I’m sick of having early and late goals scored against us. I swear we’ve given up 1+ goals in the first 5 minutes in like 40% of our games, and if we have a lead at the end good effing luck. It’s rarely an inspiring end.

We’ve won 2 in a row, yay, but at this point they’re Pyrrhic victories for me. When the troops fail again and again to be ready you must look towards the general. Or something.

Tl;dr Granato doesn’t get these dudes ready for games.

Zero in game adjustments.

Last night prime example. Started Gregor with Matthews and Nylander and he was absolutely horrific. Yet left that line together all game while Gregor was completely out to lunch. Make a f***ing change in game.

- 1-3-1 when losing
- Zero in-game adjustments
- Zero game to game adjustments
- What he plans at the start of the year is exactly how he'll coach every single game right up to the first round exit

Todd McLellan is a clown.
Did the same in Edmonton.

Pretty much this when Babcock was coaching the wings
Abdelkader was stapled to Datsyuk’s side no matter how bad he was and wouldn’t really give anyone else a chance no matter how well they were playing.

Which also goes to my least favourite coaching tactic of trying the same things over and over again when it’s clearly not working

The fact he let them blow too many 3rd period leads this year. Without doing that, they’d be first in the metro.

How he sees good things in every loss because "it's about learning"

By next season I hope they replace replace St Louis and take the training wheels off.

Keefe seems to teach the ‘turn the other cheek’ message as if he was Jesus Christ himself

I miss the good old days of HF Lightning **completely** losing its shit over Jon Cooper remaining totally calm at all times. Like we're getting shit on 3-0 after already losing the last 3 games in a row and he just pops some gum and says "It wasn't our night tonight" in the post game presser. Imagine getting dunked on and Cooper just cooly speaks into Steve Thomas' or Rick Bowness' ear and sends out the next line.

I sometimes miss the angry boii rage. Cooper is such a f***in BAWS

You can always watch the Sens losing.

It’s similar with DJ chewing his gum and the same platitudes after every loss.

This gif is not good. He is clearly saying everyone, not everything! Can't just change what they said. Not you, but whoever made it.

LGD also got too much ice time in games we needed offence.

Right now with Lalonde, it is his lack of low ice time to Seider. Unless Seider is banged up or something, lately Jeff Petry who hasn't been good is playing close to Seider's minutes as is Chiarot. Lalonde also doesn't make in game changes when things are clearly not working, unless an injury or penalty forces his hand.
