I was religiously a Toyota guy which was damn near flawless but it was time to branch out.

Hard to go wrong with 'Yota's, even when they had that rust issue in their trucks they bought back or repaired all of them at no cost to the owner.

Dodge Journey. Its a nice ride. No complaints no issues with it. Could use a small truck as I'm starting to haul things around doing some people's lawn's in the summer and its not fun listening to a mower roll back and forth in a Journey LOL The Ford Maverick's caught my eye a lot lately.

Update, sold the Journey, ended up buying the 2024 Ford Maverick, and I LOVE this truck, I haul around a lot of things and also do lawns in the summer for some family friends who dont have lawnmowers and got tired of the damn thing rolling around in the Journey.

Smooth ride. Never saw 1 commercial for it and they're so hard to find and also great on gas.

I've always had Asians.

First car is a Maxima 2002. Decent rims. Green forest. Got it cheap from my boss at 16. People thought I was a drug dealer?

I'm driving a Nissan ******

2009 BMW 335d with 167,000 kms. Been chasing an ongoing coolant leak with white smoke out of exhaust and exhaust gas pressure to coolant expansion tank. Had suspected a warped head with head gasket issues.

Actual issue: Cylinder #2 has 2 cracks in the sleeve. One crack is about 1.5 inches in length, and the other crack is about 2.5 inches in length on the opposite side.

Wife & I just picked up a 2025 Mazda CX-90, second trim level, full gas (no hybrid). I love it. It looks and feels far more sporty than the Highlander we were also looking at. It does NOT have a touch screen (praise be to actual tactile buttons I can memorize the location and feel of). Its got a ton of pep for a fairly big car. It also has a lot of driver assist features, but it's really easy to change their alert type or turn them off. I'm a fan.

I was able to give my old Camry to my dad, it's a 2009 but only had 87,000 miles on it because it was my old Ex's car and she took the train to work, then when we broke up and I took it (she took the 'new' car we bought together and took on the payments so she signed the Camry over to me as payback for the money I had put in) I was working full time from home. The trade in value just didn't properly reflect how good that car still was, and that was proven right when we had it go in for a tune up before turning it over and the mechanic said there wasn't anything to repair / watch out for. Timing was great since the muffler on his 2006 Impala fell off in my sister's driveway the day after I took the Mazda delivery.

Our back up car is the wife's Prius now. It's a nice reliable car, but its way too small for even basic trips and the pickup is atrocious / I am constantly waiting to be rear ended merging onto the highway haha. The Mazda blows it out of the water in both accounts obviously.
