I love the front end but I have to admit I wasn't crazy about the rear end but it's growing on me. The only thing I don't like is the phone charger exhaust tip, wish they just used the dual tips from the sport hatch lol
Completely agree. I have no idea why the slower but more expensive sport model got those exhaust compared to the SI.

Grabbed a 2018 Jeep GC Limited with the luxury package last month. Loving it.

Went with a matte black hood wrap for my challenger. Really love the way it looks so far, that said, she needs a clean!

Depends on the weather for me. I have 3 vehicles right now: 2011 Chevy Malibu, 2015 Colorado LTZ, 2016 WRX STI. I usually drive my truck most days, but if the weather is nice I'll take the WRX out for a spin.

2018 BMW 520d xdrive

I would have preferred rwd instead of awd on my latest car as well, but even with the modern safety gizmos and features the wife managed to spin my first 520d last winter. To clarify, the spin was unintended and the wife is not the best driver either.

1999 Dodge Ram 1500. Bought it for $2500 6ish months ago with only 230k on it and it's been great so far, plan on keeping it around for a good while.

I drive a 2004 Toyota Avalon (bought with 96k miles, i'm at 103k now. It's my first "foreign" car after driving an '03 Ford Taurus as my first car and an '05 Dodge Stratus after that. My American cars turned into money pits and I was sinking crazy amounts of money into them toward the end of their lives. I say "foreign" in quotes because it's probably more American made than a lot of current Ford/Dodges.

Technically the Avalon is technically classified as a "Luxury Vehicle", so I like to joke around and say that I live a lavish lifestyle now because I drive a luxury vehicle.

I really like the Avalon, it's very spacious inside without having to turn the car into a boat. It's within about 6 inches total in terms of length compared to the Stratus and about the same width, however the interior space is used much more efficiently. The dash sits back a lot farther from the driver/passenger seats, rather than my Ford and Dodge in which the dash was kind of right up in your face. The car is the standard model, but it has a lot more features than my Dodge by far, despite being one model year older.

Whenever I end up upgrading my car I will likely go with a newer model Avalon. I really like it a lot and haven't had any problems at all.

You said only 230k, don't know much about these engines but are they expected to run, let's say, up to 500k without major problems? What's MPG like?

My driveway/garage is pretty much a mini salvage yard:

-2008 Honda Fit Sport M/T - My everyday driver/dog hauler/road trip car/grocery getter
-2008 Jeep Patriot 4x4 A/T - GF's former daily driver that needs to go ASAP
-2002 Ford Escape 4x4 A/T - GF's current driver
-1994 Dodge Dakota V8 RWD A/T - thirsty 200k mile street legal wheelbarrow that's only good at hauling stuff and doing burnouts (has intake, headers, 3" axle dumped single exhaust and MOPAR Perf. ECU)
-1993 Eagle Talon TSi AWD M/T - Fun Car/Project (mostly just an oddly reliable bolt on EvoIII 16G car on stock tune/fuel...)
-1993 Mercury Capri XR2 M/T - Broken "Super Budget" Fun Car/Project (waiting on me to install a new convertible top, replace broken trans, install eBay 6 puck clutch/"hybrid" turbo made from a Probe and Thunderbird IHI turbo's/FMIC made from one of the various intercoolers and plumbing collecting dust in my garage/boost controller/budget coilovers and fab up an exhaust...
-1991 Dodge Spirit R/T M/T - Fun Car/Project (stock turbo with 3" straight pipe, FMIC and some other bolt ons...)

Just left:
-2006 Chevy Cobalt SS/SC M/T - Bought it with a bad motor. Ended up parting it out and scrapping the shell because the rest of the car was pretty trashed as well

Coming soon:
-2000 Chevy Camaro Z28 A/T - Another Fun Car/Project that I'm picking up from a friend, although my GF will probably end up driving it most of the time :help:

2014 Volkswagen Golf R, Lapiz blue. Fun car, 4wd, great gearbox (6sp DSG). Though I fight everyday the temptation of getting myself an Audi RS3 Sedan. That 5 cylinder Audi roar...

Picked up an '05 Pacifc Blue 4Runner SR5 this weekend. 160,000 miles, other than a chipped up nose I would've believed it had about 16,000 miles. Always amazes me how well these Toyotas are built. Should be a great winter and light trail vehicle for a long time, help keep miles off the M5.
