I'd take Monahan as my top centre any day. You could argue that he is dependent on Gaudreau, but how do we know it's not vice versa as well? Great players complimenting each other IMO.

The only thing Calgary IMO is a no1 RW, I would like to see Mark stone on Calgary ( it's been beaten to death by propolas ) but ferland at the top looks great! We have to get a better at PP so get rid of Cameron and get someone with more insight.

I think some 3rd/4th line grit, a player that could be a natural face of the franchise and a truthful leader since Jarome Iginla, best coaching and a star goalie. Then I believe they could be a threat.

The Flames could use a RW forward to play on their 3rd line. Hathaway has done admirable work, but is better suited fortifying the team’s weak 4th line. If the Flames can add an experienced sniper to play with Bennett and Jankowski, then that could really elevate this team into the next level.
