What are the best and different ways to watch all Leafs games (and how much do they cost)?

I really would like to be able to reliably watch Leafs games. I want to pick the option that is the cheapest, whether it’s streaming or cable TV.

I’m finding that maybe the best way to do this is:

Prime membership ($8.33/month for the year) with TSN ($16.67/month if you subscribe for a year) + Sportnet ($15/month if you subscribe for a year) add-ons. So that would be about $40/month to guarantee you can watch every leaf game?

Would that really be the best option? Or would it be better to go with a combination of Prime + cable TV?

I think the same every year and then I just continue to pay a stupid amount of money to cable because it's easy to watch.

$40/month is a good deal. Are you able to get these TSN and Sportsnet add ons with your Prime membership? I subscribe to the Sportsnet+ app and it costs about $25/month alone.

If you can get all the games for $40/month can you send me the links with the details so I can do it myself next year.

I have an Android box for the last 5 years. 20 bucks per month for every channel known to man. I mean everything. Legacy tv channels, all streaming channels, all sports networks and all ppv.

I can't recommend it enough. All you need is a decent, stable internet connection.

I using a streaming box as well. Mine is $25 per month, I get all of the sports channels... and I mean, NFL, NHL, NBA, AHL, OHL... movies, pretty much everything you could even think of. I've had the service for about six years, it's never been down once. Far better than paying crazy prices for cabel.

I just checked the add the guy I go to has, and it says over 12 thousand channels 4k quality... boxes as low as 49.99.

Pretty sure those are used boxes. Alot of people upgrade to the latest box as soon as one comes out and he resells the older ones.

The top of the line box is about 190 bucks currently. Was 120 bucks 5 yrs ago when I got one.

I don't know if the new boxes have a record feature. Mine doesn't.

But you can back up most channels by 24hrs minimum. Some channels will go back a few days. I can pause live tv and then continue it later.

I using a streaming box as well. Mine is $25 per month, I get all of the sports channels... and I mean, NFL, NHL, NBA, AHL, OHL... movies, pretty much everything you could even think of. I've had the service for about six years, it's never been down once. Far better than paying crazy prices for cabel.

I stopped using mine about 5 years ago. Think I had a MAG ###. Recent housing cleaning had it go to the recycle bin.

At the time the Government was ramping up charges against providers, and many providers were very concerned. The target was providers but the threat was also against consumers. There were options to record, and with how cheap GB's are today probably not a space issue.

As someone has mentioned not all these "providers" are equal, and my experience don't expect any guarantees. Perhaps some of the better ones will provide support, but this isn't exactly something you could go to a complaints department for.

Today Sportsnet+, Cable, Prime have not missed a game. Sportsnet+ records so you can watch live or after the game.

If you have a relative or old enough kids you can pay half price for Sportsnet+, you know ...

If you use prime frequently, why would you pay for shipping when you can get a membership and get free shipping, on almost everything. Some international items may cost you shipping, but not Fedex type prices, but something.

i had a top of the line android box, and threw it at a wall because of the lag in the gui, even after loading a custom gui ...the app worked fine, but getting to it drove me nuts

also, more channels is not usually better most of the time in services, since they are useless fillers you will never watch.

when doing a trial, check sportsnet/tsn and make sure they have 60fps and then check the delay ...some are seconds behind live (or even ahead of the bell fibe app), and others a minute or even 2 behind.

FYI, if they advertise on the internet, dont use them.

He was very clear about not messing with the software or settings. This thing is not like the old satellite boxes. He said too many guys think they can change the settings and once it's good and messed up, the call him to fix it lol.

Why would I ever go lifetime? If they go out of business, I'm out of pocket. I pay 20 bucks per month and an upfront cost of 120 bucks (five years ago). Peanuts for a stable tv viewing system that I've had for half a decade and gets better ever couple of years.

Zero complaints.

I researched and got one of the highest rated boxes, but I don't think that is ever going to be the issue. My guess the issues will be the re-seller/content provider.

Tivimate is the best 'app' in the world for iptv and its a better deal to buy lifetime than annually.
it is only an app though, it is not a provider and has zero sources
you still need to add a service to Tivimate.

it used to be cheaper ...maybe black friday may have a sale? I've been using it for 5+ years, and everyone i know that has iptv uses it.
an alternative (free) is smarters, but, its interface sucks in my opinion, but, its an option.
i also own the app 'implayer' its more of a tivimate knockoff but not as good, and also own iptv extreme, more complex to setup, and ugly to use. ...these are all just interfaces though that you need to add a service to. on their own they do nothing.

Looks like you are in the Leafs region, so, yes. You would need access to TSN, Sportsnet and Prime to see all the games. You can get all that via Prime + Addons or sub direct. I don't know the price difference.

I still have cable (good deal via Bell), so I add on NHL Centre Ice (~$200 for the season) because I am outside the Leafs region and need it to see the regional games. Bonus is that I get all other out of market games too, which I do take in almost every night. Otherwise I also have Sportsnet and see all the national games on there. I already had a Prime membership so that covered the other 6 games.

I have tried some 'internet IPTV sellers' and they have generally been a pita and full of blackouts as I guess they were stealing their signal from non-Leafs regions. I do agree that tiviMate is the best app on the go. Just find a good source and you should be in decent shape. Ensure to get one with an EPG, or that will just add another layer of nonsense you'll have to deal with.

Sadly, the best way to watch is to pirate like so many people are saying up thread. The geniuses that run these things have somehow made it harder to buy their content than steal it.

I was subscribed to a couple of services but I am canceling them one by one as the Leafs/NHL fragment the games across more services and each one increases in price.

Next up is cancelling sportsnet before their 25% increase in January for less games than last year.

I’ll get what I can via broadcast and skip the rest.

For cable TV we’ll not really cable since it runs through your internet but the same thing, Bell fibe is pretty good not sure exactly how much for just the TV but with my phone and internet the 3 come out to about 210 a month. Phone is 55 so I’m going to guess the TV is about 60 a month but that gets you their sports package add on which every leafs game along with all the Jays,NFL,basketball and there’s college football channels with that to even
