What are some examples of the past?

Who are the guys in the league now who are slow, but still very good?

When I think of past guys, I think of guys like Jagr (older version), Jason Allison, Dave Anderchuck. If I remember correctly, Al McInnis wasn't too fast either. Wendel Clark had a bit of an ugly stride.

I am struggling to think of a great player in today's league....Tavares is slow, not sure if he's great, though. Kuch always seems to be moving slowly, but his footwork is great, definitely not similar to those older guys who legit could barely skate.

Fox is not a slow skater. He has average speed.
His skating is very good due to his edgework, IQ, and overall escapability. People underestimate “average” speed in the NHL way too often. He is very slow in terms of top speed and gets burned on occasion. I’ve legit never seen him beat a player to the puck in an even distance foot race
