What a Season!

Honestly the first Jets team I found to be genuinely really likable since like 2018. After 2018 you had the Trouba drama and then the Wheeler drama and Buff retired and then Maurice quit and it just was not great vibes. Then Bowness gets the team to play boring but effective for the regular season hockey but is maddening with his player usage and you can always tell they're not playing a winning style. Like last year they were a likable group but the coaching just wasn't it and everybody sort of knew it.

Finally this year they were cooking all season and genuinely were both 1. good and 2. fun to watch and 3. likable as a group of guys. More of that please.

Fun ride for sure.

We should known better than anyone how hard it is to advance even a round in the playoffs.

Nobody expects acquisitions like Rantanen, and Granlund but I really do hope they find a way to add something to the team next season. This core is decent, the goalie is solid. Give them more of a chance.

I was pretty impartial to 55 before today, he gained a true fan in me tonight. Mad respect.

The guys will be holding their heads high all off-season.

This feels like a bit of a Carolina situation. Our club knows we can hang with the best in the post season now and even carry the play against them.

Dallas is hella experienced and they were able to be patient and deep enough that they could get away with us carrying play a bit more and being ready for being opportunistic. Kudos to them. Their experience helped them get through us.

More than anything, the situation with Scheif and his Dad only showed how the stuff about being a family is very real. These guys love each other man. They showed they can play as a team and play a ridiculously detailed game.

Go Jets Go

That was a great season with major accomplishments. The best team in the league this year, and I wouldn't have thought that before the season started. It would have been nice to go further in the tournament, but it's a dmmn hard thing to win

This team brought it every night through the entire year. It was exceptional growth and they gave us a playoff series for the ages in round 1.

Dalls was deeper at forward and the second line centre issue caught up with us. But that's for later.

RIP Brad Schiefele.

They battled hard, they never quit, I don't know what more we could have asked.

I was getting divorced in 2018 and life was pretty bad.

This time around I watched playoff games with my son, this will be my favourite year for a helluva long time.

Sorry, but Cup or bust. Seeing that President's Trophy banner in the building will bring up game 7 magic for most, but for me it's a reminder of how bad we were most games this postseason. Perfetti's goal is like Bautista's batflip: meaningless. I realize I'm more negative than most on here, so I will end with something we can all agree on: Scheifele brought out the best in sportsmanship in the absolute worst of circumstances. RIP Brad; I know you'd have been real proud.

Ya great year. It's nice to see some postivity here, except the post before mine haha. Those last two losses were total coin flip games to me, really could have gone either way just needed a bounce or two. It easily could've been the Jets moving on this game, but so it goes with hockey. Hopefully they come back next year hungry and with a re-signed Ehlers!

Definitely one of the best Jets 2.0 seasons ever (I'd probably put it at worst top-2 with 2017-18)
We had a fantastic team and we had many fun games
Won the Presidents' Trophy!!
Beat the Blues including one of the best game 7s of all time
Took a great Dallas team to 6 hard-fought games and got people talking about the Winnipeg Jets

The Manitoba Miracle was something else, we nor the rest of the hockey world will ever forget that moment and that alone makes this a fantastic season, but yes the regular season was good but obviously disappointing end when that Dallas series was incredibly winnable.

But they will live and learn, I expect better showing next post season, just gotta make sure Chevy makes the right moves now.

AS A FAN, you are always defleated when season’s end specially because of the regular season the team had.

The team that beat the Jets loaded up .
A bounce or two it could have been a different series. That kicked goal seems so big now , but we can’t what if.

The core has a couple more peak years left, depends if Ehlers resign. Wishing.

Some of the young guns will need to step up more this year.

I’m very optimistic next year barring what happens with Ehlers.

Jets will be a good team again. Can’t wait for the season starts again.

Hopefully Arniel wins the Coach of the year like Deboer said on his interview.

GO JETS GO

It was a great year all in all. This post season did have it's incredible moments and disappointments but we are heading in the right direction. Hopefully the management team has noted the areas we need improvement in and will be committed to making those improvements for next year. We have the potential to be right back here again next season so it's on them to get us there. The expectations will now be much higher and hopefully everyone is on the same page.
