Thats called turning. If you watch the video he was turning before Pettersson even made a move.

I have him on ignore. He’s a Ranger hater.
So many examples. The first one to come to mind was way back when he was giving odds on which team would win the Lafrenier lottery he said the Rangers had zero chance because they traded away a first that year ignoring the fact the the Rangers still had their first, they had traded away a first that they had acquired. I see Kreider skating. He doesn't stick his leg out or break his skating motion that he's already started. No extension of the leg.
