god the 4th line put up some of the worst analytics i've ever seen last night. they had a 7.14% CF and a 0% xGF. that is a huge problem, that's like icing a mens league line.

i honestly cant figure out who's the one weighing it down the most. it's not Vesey and Goodrow has never been this bad, so it has to be Bonino, right?

I only watched up until the SHG Vancouver scored. I was too tired and called it quits.

Anyway, till that point, I thought the game was 50/50. We had some bad moments, lots of scrambling. So did Vancouver. I thought the game was kind of ugly in that respect. The constant penalties made it difficult to establish any kind of real rhythm. Some of the penalties were stupid.

Based on the 50 minutes I watched, seemed like a point was fair for both teams. I can't speak to OT, though.

Probably should have been a penalty on Kreider in OT but also zero people complain if the rangers don’t turn around and score. It was incidental contact and Petterson is known for selling stuff like that. Again, I totally get the bellyaching but I also see why that’s not called late in OT. Classic result-based reaction.

This is accurate. The "HE STUCK HIS LEG OUT" analysis is wrong.

But we also see that get called ALL of the time so I understand the frustration on the part of Canucks fans. I'd be pissed if the shoe were on the other foot.

100%. I see it from both sides. It could have been called and also could have been let go.
Other people have mentioned it but I think there should be 30 sec power plays in OT.
Refs are naturally very loathe to call penalties that give a team a 33% manpower advantage for 40% of the OT.

Glad i fell asleep I hate penalty fests. Saw tocchet call someone a piece of shit in the highlights so that was worth it.

The second period was hard to watch at times. However the last 10-15 min of the third was very entertaining.
