Hynes had the assistant GM come stand behind the bench a few weeks into the season.

It was nuts he was brought back for multiple reasons and that was proven by Fitz going behind the bench almost immediately after the season started.

Hynes definitely should have been fired then. Yes, I've said that multiple times.

That was merely nothing more than Frankenstein experiment to keep Hynes on life support. It saved Hynes another 6 weeks of time, but it also at least helped cost Shero his job.

Really doesn’t seem to even matter who is on this team. It just feels the same as any other random game from the past several years.

Blackwood is awful and probably at best a below average NHL backup, but this is on Ruff. Constantly no structure. The team shows up to play only 35% of the time.

I still support Fitz and understand his vision…but if this type of play lasts for longer than 10 games and Ruff is still behind the bench, especially with Brunnette waiting in the shadows, Fitz has lost my support too.

Yeah, one game. But this feels like very much the same. Something needs to change.

I'm not saying this will happen, but I could see Ruff out of here quicker than we think.

I almost think of when the Flyers fired Laviolette I think after THREE games into the season?

I'm not saying we won't get a win in one of the first 4 or 5 games, but I can't see Ruff being here if we're some mutation of 0- and whatever adds up to 5.
