Just rewatched the end of the last game. Boy does Hill look ordinary. Every goalie once in a while throws out an amazing save, even the mediocre ones. Opposed to great goalies who come out with those on a regular basis. Hill had his 1 against Cousins. But we have Bob who will be the difference in the end.

Expecting a big game from Gus, Monty and Ek - if they get into spots where they can unleash their shots through the shotblockers VGK will be in trouble.

Yeah, agree. Only reason he is doing well is cause he is quite big in net. He takes away lot of the lower part of the net with his size. 2 of the 3 goals Panthers scored were nice wristers high. He goes down a lot and struggles with the high shots. Not much to aim for down low. Aim high, generate traffic and he will be leaking pucks.

Also am I thinking wrong here, or does he give up a lot of rebounds? Only Panthers haven't really been able to get to them?

He swims a lot too. Notice how many times he is sliding around the ice. A fake shot or extra pass might not be the worst case scenario here
