Need more grit!!!Watch, Waddell is going to see this and think we just need another RHD to fix it
Why do I expect to get it stepped on... and ground into the dirt.Thursday is ding ding kicking time!
I'll Agree on the 1998 style play... Clutch and GrabWorld not ending. For the most part, we played well. The 1st was spectacular. But we had a few defensive breakdowns and Chicago made the most of them, and then played 1998 style hockey because the refs decided not to call anything, and it worked for them. I'm sure Rod's press conference will involve a couple variations of the phrase "trust the process", and he'll be right. We play like that and we win much more often than we lose.
Its legitimately embarrassing that this went uncalled.I'll Agree on the 1998 style play... Clutch and Grab

The fact is if the Refs aren't going to call it our team needs to adapt..Its legitimately embarrassing that this went uncalled.
But hey, I guess the NHL wants Chicago rather than Nashville in the playoffs for ratings purposes.
Was forced to watch away feeds the past two games due to my streaming setup. Tampa feed was actually pretty good. Hopefully I never have to watch a Chicago broadcast ever again.
Nah, URANIUM CITY. THAT'S A PROPA' CANADIAN HOCKEY TOWN.Move the Canes to Siberia.
How do you adapt to clutch and grab hockey. You can't just skate through the body when the guy has you wrapped up the second he gets within a stick length of you.The fact is if the Refs aren't going to call it our team needs to adapt..
Skjei wasn't great either. I know he basically created our only goal and has actually been one of the few offensive catalysts from the back end lately (which is a problem in and of itself), but he had a brutal giveaway to end the 1st period that luckily didn't end up in the back of the net then had another one to start the period which did, and ultimately that had a big effect putting us in that 2nd period slump.Guess we blame this one on Pesce. That giveaway was atrocious
Weren't our 2 losses to CBJ after they had only won like 3 of their last 12 too?Our last 2 regulation losses are to Detroit and a free falling Chicago.
That's just bad. Beating Tampa is great, but you can't follow it up with a dud like that. We play down to the level of bad teams too often for a true contender.
