Wasted the goal by Henrique as well in this loss. He's not gonna get many this year playing in the bottom 6 with the Stonehands Quintet down there... so when he does pot one... would be nice to get a win at least. He scored in game 4 and in game 18.. and I'm thinking a couple goals every 20 games is about it for him with the crew of offensive misfits he plays with.
"Stonehands Quintet"-- never heard that one before but it does seem appropriate.

Can't wait for pooshart and skinner to be named off of the four nations roster. Let's just peel that bandaid off. Maybe once they realize how horrible and entitlted they've been playing and how little the rest of the league thinks of them, they'll wake up.

In addition to the Stone Hands Quintet--look at the sleek six up front.

RNH, J. Skinner, Arvidsson and Hyman have a combined total of 9 goals in 18 games.

An average of .5 goals per game isn't doing much to support Mc-D and Drai.

I think an average of 1.0 per game would be much more appropriate. These guys have to step up.

To think that at the start of the season, Skinner and Bouchard were projected to make Team Canada - both have likely played themselves off the team in under 15 games.

Didn’t see the game, holy shit Bouchard WTF on both of those goals
zach laing probably gave Bouchard 1st star, and an 8 player rating.

if there was a pick up game at any local rink, these 2 would be picked last.

The oilers are giving up the fewest high danger chances against in the league, yet Skinner is rocking a .877 save percentage.

Bouchard never even tried, he was coasting…..COASTING! What kind of spineless coach puts up with that garbage?
I’ve been watching Boosh quit on plays since he came here. He’s a quitter plain and simple, zero urgency when it counts. Seems like he just wants points to get a big contract somewhere even if it isn’t here. He doesn’t bleed blue and orange. That 3rd goal against is his signature.

What is skinner doing in goal when nurse is about to get head shot.

Any goalie with some awareness is yelling at nurse to get his head up

This guy is so clueless out there and couldn’t read a play if he was given the script first

He wasn't Norris level defence.
Norris level defense doesn’t mean how well he was playing in his own zone by the way.

You still don’t understand what the Norris is

4 of the past 5 games the Oilers have blown 3rd period leads...this is supposed to be a vet team but they crap their pants with rookie mistakes

mind boggling
Maybe they’re too old and need diapers

It's time to look for a goalie
It’s a tough trade to make mid season. Should have just signed Stolarz in the offseason. Hopefully there’s a team with a good third goalie that’s willing to trade him for a reasonable price because he’s blocked by two better goalies.

By the way, we're now 18 games into the season. How many games do you think the Oilers have won in three periods? (you know the ones that count in the playoffs...?)

Answer: FIVE games

They have five real wins in 18 games played. Who have they managed to actually defeat this season?:
- Nashville x 2
- Pittsburgh
- Calgary
- Vancouver

Vancouver and Calgary are technically playoff teams right now (since the Pacific is so bad), but I'll be shocked if the Flames make the playoffs this year. As far as I'm concerned, the Oilers have won 1 real game against a playoff team this season.

They'll probably beat Montreal because Montreal blows, but I won't be impressed until they start beating real clubs...
They got goalied against NJ. They were better than Vegas. They were playing the crap out of Dallas for 2 periods. It;s not just black and white.

They sucked games 1-3. They have not been bad at all after that

When is that garbage tourney anyways lol? I have not heard one person talk about it within my hockey friends. Nobody gives a rats ass about it.

I hope it comes and goes quick with no injuries

But see, everybody here watches all the other 31 teams and only Edmonton makes these specific big mistakes. They all have to be automatic goals here,
