The game was close, and we got chances and looks at the net. Obviously, it wasn't bouncing our way, but we still should have been able to force one. Need to go back to the drawing board and put together a better plan for game 2 because the feather passes in tight aren't working. Get those shots on goal.

Missing those open nets and Kopitar passing up slot shots hurts. It won't happen again.

Curious why everyone looked so gassed though. Flu still going around?

New guys looked good in their roles surprisingly, it was the core that we needed more from tonight.

Agreed. Next game everything needs to be hard to the net.
 
Meh we were outplayed and Vegas only scored 1. Not even worried. We got this got em right where we want em.

That game was so bad that I miss Forbort.

Seriously, the Kings got massively outplayed, were out of sync all night, and ran around like headless chickens.

I don't know what the f*** the STEVENS system is, but it seems like its just "move the puck up by any means necessary, who cares if the guy you pass to is surrounded by ten people". And he made the worst adjustments. Pearson with Kopitar doesn't work, and it will never work. Stop trying to force BULLSHIT in the last period of the game.

his system is the one that got us into the playoffs
