Went to a sports bar with my uncle and aunt and my wife to watch this game tonight. Man...This team is just PLAIN horrible! Most boring team I've ever had the displeasure to watch...They need to blow the entire team up seriously.

They refuse to compete for 60 minutes. Lazy, lazy bunch. People keep saying they're slow, to me it just looks like a whole lot of gliding and not enough moving their feet.
VHP line not converting good chances
They might have one defensman that knows how to defend a 2 on 1 :shakehead

U:
The powerplay is the worst it's ever been
The called back goal. Porter had almost nothing to do with that and it should have counted. And since when do you get a no goal AND an powerplay? Only in Toronto:rant:

Are players like Weber, Brennan, Gerbe, Hecht, Leopold and now Porter anything more than good AHL players? This is a BAD roster!

That JVR trade for Schenn is looking more lopsided each day. JVR looked like a stud out there tonight.

I'm not right too often, but I hated that trade from a Sabres perspective from the minute I heard about it. Philly jettisoned JVR far too soon. I think he's going to be a perennial 25+ goal power forward in this league. He's still just 23.

It could've been a different narrative tonight had Vanek and/or Hodgson potted their first period chances, as Miller was indeed on his game, but nonetheless the team pulled a typical disappearing act and voila, another deserved loss.

Did you see him skate around our defenders like they were nothing...:help: He would of had a hatty if it weren't for that glove save. I agree completely, guy is going to be filthy in a few years.

Just hope and pray Pegula will wake up, and let a new GM take over, get a new coach, and gut the team of the losers.

That's all there is to hold on to in these dark days.

Do you think it makes any sense to hold onto Regier until the end of the season. I got roasted for questioning the timing of the Lindy firing, but seriously, why would we need to keep Regier around?

I'm sure people will say, "just let him finish the year out", and blah, blah, but just do it, and let Ted do interim. If we're gonna let Darcy finish the season, we may as well have kept Ruff as well(as bad as that sounds).

in all honesty, nothing changed, Rolston hasn't had any time to do anything but the completely obvious stuff (gerbe off PP, etc). will be next weekend's game before we should expect any different lines, approaches, systems, etc

So there's no possible way that Rolston will hold a few full practices and point this team in the right direction? There's no possible way he might just get more out of a few players? His first game with only a morning skate and he sucks already?

Is that the actual feeling among a few here?
