I miss clean-coiffed Bednar.
He looks like a conductor right now.

Last night was the first time my wife sat down to watch a game this season. Her only comment for the entire game was that Bednar needed a haircut
I've said on the website run by the coked-up South African dude that Bednar looks like Bruno the Trashman when he has his hair grown out and pulls down that silly hat he likes to wear at practice over his eyes.

I remember a short feature on Bednar pre-pandemic, I think it aired on Altitude but was available on Youtube. Anyways, he lived in the same building as some barbershop and part of the feature was filmed while he was getting a haircut. He was friend with he owner there and it looked like he was going there all the time.

I'm guessing it closed during the 2020 lockdown and Bednar decided not to go back or something.

I came here to read what you guys think about Annunen and he's start for the season. You guys are talking about a hair style of some never heard old guy. This is some next level degeneracy and I kinda like it.

Watching this guy from his 1st few games in the NHL to now. What a treat. Just looks like he's in complete control of his game. I remember seeing him in the WJC and came away very impressed with the way he was so sound positionally and no wasted movements. Now it finally seems to be translating to the big leagues.

He has really improved his angles since his 1st games in the NHL. He has the size and was already elite at taking away the bottom half of the net but now he's piecing it together and taking the angles away which helps him cover the top half. His side to side movements look more powerful compared to last year as well.

I'm really rooting for this kid to succeed! Would love to see a goalie come through our system and do well.

JUUUUUUUUICE!!!

From the day we drafted him I was excited and hoped and dreamed he becomes what he is becoming now, and it's coming together. Seen so much critisism toward him along these boards along the way, but the boy's only been brewin' and has a lot ahead to prove of himself. He's f***ing young but has his head in it's right place, and it's no wonder since he's coming from the humble small town of Kempele. Some of my wife's relatives are from there so I visit now and then and it's such a down to earth small place. BTW a guy named Pekka Rinne is from the same town, just sayin'.

If Juice continues his stellar play, AND Nabokov pans out, what was seen as a perpetual weakness (Avalanche drafting goalies) might now be seen as a strength!

Very promising but I'll wait to see what he does against stronger teams before getting too excited. There is no doubt though that he should be playing instead of George right now. You can see a huge difference in the players' body language when he is in net.

Lets be honest, its not your system, its the legendary Kärppä-System (and a legendary goalie couch) that has produced many great goalies to nhl. (And yes I am biased because that happens to be my home town) 😁

I agree on the wait and see, but all these games are still providing true game speed, which is allowing him to build the right confidence in his methods of play, if this makes sense.
