I'm sorry, but that 4th line would look so much better with Prishchepov.

He did that to himself
Career wise, it was a smart to want a trade out. Toews and Girard are good players. It was going to be tough to earn minutes against them. Buffalo wasn't the ideal spot for him, but he didn't control that aspect of it. Also, Power is someone you should absolutely be able to outplay. I don't know what Buffalo saw in that kid to justify his contract.

They were trying to do what the Devils and Sens did with Stutzle and Hughes and give him his big contract early. It was a gamble that he'd pan out and become a bargain... But they're currently losing that gamble.

He has outplayed Power and ya I never understood the Power love. How him or Slaf went # 1 I'll never understand

The Avs have the longest active winning streak in the league at 6 games. Next closest win streak is 3 games. We are the hottest thing going in the league right now, imagine if we hadn't started the season six weeks late.

If the NHL stopped the season whenever the Avs have a significant amount of injuries, the league would go bankrupt

Since our 2-7 start we have a record of 22-8 for a .730 P%. That P% pace would be 1st overall. We are currently 9th in P% with .615.

We did play quite a bit of weak teams though during that stretch but you still need to win those games.

If we hadn't started the season six weeks late we'd be ending it six weeks early. Big brain moves.

This guy is such a freak.

Plays the most of any forward in the NHL on a regular basis.

First guy on the ice for every practice. Last guy off the ice, regularly does 1 on 1 work with whoever wants it(Drouin, Mittelstadt, Lehkonen, O'Connor, Girard, Malinski as examples just this season alone).

Doesn't miss an optional practice.

Meh, it was really only 1 guy, and you could also make the argument he still hasn't started his season yet. The good news is he's not our problem anymore!

I only caught the first period last night due to playing hockey, how did Parssinen look?

I didn't mind what I saw from him in the first, especially one play in the defensive zone where he took a great angle, put his body into a Buffalo player, stole the puck and exited the zone himself to relieve pressure. He looked way more comfortable playing down the middle.
