Who thinks Martin Necas will thrive and be elite with our Avs?

After yesterdays game with also the input of Drury I think CMac might have sneakily won the blockbuster and not only considering cap and full roster building strategy, but also in the level of the immediate on-ice product. Hot damn that PP had some urgency to it!! This feeling after only two games is certainly not what I was expecting.

I believe Marty will be a 100+ point player.
Yeah his skating and puck possession abilities are going to be such a spectacular fit. And the dude can f***in shoot too

It's only 2 games but he definitely has the tools and he's in his prime. Way too early to know of course, but nothing I saw made me think he's not a world class offensive player. Also 6'3"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If I remember correctly Parsy has only been used in 3 different occasions on the 2nd line and he has produced one point in each of these games. He has one goal and both assists were key to the goals. He has also been a lot better than Mitts possession wise. Very small sample obviously but it is something to keep in mind.

He really should have got another assist last night on a great play on Makar's goal that was called back if brain-dead Wood would have stayed out of the crease. So he really should be at 4 pts in those 3 games he played on the 2nd line.

The pinch that led to the Rangers' 2-on-1 goal was so utterly stupid, I just don't get what he's trying to accomplish out there. I understand that they encourage aggressive play from all their defensemen but, Pratt needs to sit down with him and remind him he's there to be a stay-at-home presence. He has got to calm down his f***ing game.

And yes, I know Sammy wasn't great yesterday either.

As much as I like Parssinen's game, we all know he is a placeholder until Nichushkin returns. Then it's down to the 4th line we go.
I agree with this 100%. My post was more to show that when he is playing with quality players he seems to produce. The very small sample could show that he is a good cheap piece to keep to fill in on the 2nd line when there are injuries.

Val is done after some light work in his shorts, I don't think he's close at all with the recent setback. Hopefully after the Four Nations.

Kylington keeps putting the work in, he can't be far off now. Probably needs some light contact soon.

If they want to, I'll bet they use Val as the LTIR candidate in the event Landeskog wants to return. Hold him out until the playoffs and let him heal 100%.

Toews seems to have healed after his early season woes and idk if Drouin will fully heal without surgery based on his earlier words.

Kylington getting gassed eh. Jeez.

I like his shot too

Off day for the boys. Enjoy a day off in New York City.

Across the river to face the Islanders tomorrow.

Meanwhile, back in Denver...

Thank god he's not in NY or he'd be sliding rails like Shaun White.

Saw this thread where there were 3 more pages and I needed to catch up thinking there must been alot of hockey talk. But 3 pages in we're debating if Sunday or Monday is the first day of the week. That's why I love HFAvs expect the unexpected

PS : Monday is the first day of the week. My 5"4 ass is ready to fight IRL.
