Bednar on his weekly spot on Altitude Radio says Rittchie will be evaluated over 9 games, "However long it takes to play those 9", and then a decision will be made.

Says he thought Georgiev was "great" in camp and in preseason games he played (yikes).

Happy with depth at D. Praised Ludvig's size and toughness, says he's still growing as an NHL player.

Excited to see what all the new players on the team can bring.

Wants to see the vets of the team step it up with Val, Landy, and Lehky out.

Wants the team to be better defending in front of the net and in transition D.

That was my first thought too. It works, but only to a certain point.
