A live look in at the Avs locker room:

Trade deadline Monday, may not be a moment too soon either. Once again the injuries continue to pile up.

Injury Report, though we haven't talked to the trainers yet:

Grubauer: Out for weeks, body injury
Kadri: Out for weeks, body injury
Calvert: Out for weeks, body injury
Burakovsky: ????
Rantanen: Out for weeks, body injury
Wilson: Out for eternity, dead injury

**I also have an upper body injury from typing out that long list**

Are we sure that Grub is out for weeks ?

If we can survive this week we will be in a great spot to finish the season.

What do you expect the lines to look like against Buffalo?

Grubauer is still listed as out indefinitely, so I was wrong on weeks.

as far as the lines, it will be the same as the LA game unless Namestnikov clears up the visa issues real fast, even then they may want him to get in a practice first

3 wins coming - 6 straight.
No fear.

Bura was just ill (and we play in a week pretty much) he'll be good.

Also think Calvert and Grub will be back sooner rather than later reading various tidbits.

Hoping for a win against Carolina. It will be my first game in two years and I bought tickets 4 weeks ago when our roster was a lot healthier.

W vs Buffalo
W @ Carolina
L @ Nashville

I can't imagine we play Frank for all 3 games including a back to back so unless Gru is a lot closer we are going to have to play Hutch in Nashville probably.

Entering that "easy" schedule we've been hearing about. I'm looking forward to the Avs getting on a roll. Time to ride Frankie!
Can't find anything "easy" this week.

BUF is playing better lately and are still hunting the Leafs, CAR is always dangerous and just upgraded their roster a ton, and for NSH it's do-or-die time if they want to make the Playoffs.

If we manage to get 3-4 points with our current roster i'm more than happy.

That's why I used the scare quotes. There are no easy games. LA and Anaheim supposedly suck, and we came very close to losing both those games.

Best chance for a win is vs. Buffalo, but not expecting a win in either of B2B games, especially in Nashville where the Avs typically play awful and Hutch will likely be in goal.

Been saying it for weeks, but I hope we see Nuke find his way into the top-6 permanently now that the Avs are sticking with this team.

Burakovsky - MacKinnon - Rantanen
Landeskog - Kadri - Nischushkin

Versus the Ducks, in the third period, Burakovsky blocked a shot near the blueline. He went down -- at the time I thought he was grabbing his arm. The camera followed the puck into the corner so it really wasn't noticeable, and he played more shifts after that I believe, but it stood out to me.

Good thing the Avs went out and picked up one whole player at the deadline to help the cause.

Nieto has joined the injured list too? Jesus. If Sakic was aware of all of these injuries how did he not add somebody else. Barberio is now a forward? At this point the club doesn't even have a thirteenth forward or a seventh defensman, apparently. That's a mediocre third line as the second line, a fourth line as the third line, and two-thirds of an AHL line + an AHL defensman as the fourth line.
