The Avs were horrible the first game against Edmonton, generating literally nothing.

The second game was even worse but at least they scored enough to win. They just got abused every single shift by McDavid and Draisaitl, but that was Blackwood in goal.

Yep, we let them come all the way back to win 4-3 after a 3 goal first period January 16th. That's the game I was thinking of where Mack had two goals.

Tickets are pricey, but I should just go. On the other hand, traveling solo travel to a hostile enemy country, might not be a good idea. Maybe I'd be better off waiting until they play in Pyongyang or Tehran.

I’m stuck out of town Tuesday and gave my tickets away. Avs somehow manage to always win the times I don’t go (and once a decade when I do) so can pretty well pencil the Canucks game in as a win

Please actually show up and beat the Oilers this time. Not a lot of hope for the Flames if Miner ends up playing. It’s a winnable game if it’s Wedgie

Interesting that they activated Nuke to IR.
Perhaps the Avs want maximum salary leeway for trades before the 4 nations. Otherwise, why put him on IR, especially if he’s supposed to be back right after the tourney is done.
