I think that I found the answer to my question from earlier. I looked up their recent match ups and the Jets have won the last 5 against Houston. Add in Houston being banged up and on the road on a short week and I guess I can see why Vegas has NYJ favored. I still don't agree with it but it makes a bit more sense now.

Every analyst all week: Jets are weak against the run. All Houston, with their WR injuries, has to do is hand the ball to Mixon and control the game from beginning to end.

I wouldn’t complain if they called that roughing the kicker instead of running into the kicker. At first I thought the kicker might have embellished the contact, but watching the replay not so sure.

Kickers left plant leg was off the ground when contact was made but contact it did cause him to land awkwardly with that left leg caught underneath his body.

I know they can’t put Buffalo vs KC there that week because CBS protected it and it will stay the 4 o’clock national game….but literally any other game is better than Jets vs Colts
