Previous 26-8 games:
December 28, 1963: Boston Patriots over Buffalo Bills: Technically listed as a divisional round playoff game - this was actually a tie breaker game in the AFL East. Both teams tied the top of the division at 7-6-1. The Patriots win in Buffalo and get a trip to San Diego where the 11-3 Chargers predictably beat the brakes off them 51-10. Because of the tie-break game, the Chargers got a bye week, which was not usual back then. Neither team had a safety though.
October 29, 1973: Miami Dolphins over Baltimore Colts: Nearly 46 years to the day. In this game, both teams had a safety, bookending the scoring. The Dolphins blocked a punt, and the Colts 'forced [George] Roberts out of the end zone.' He was the punter.
