Can't help but wonder if we are seeing opening decline of Bama as a power program

After shocking loss to Vandy they now are losing 19-14 to South Carolina halfway thru 3rd qtr

Well, following a legend is a bitch. It’s almost an impossible situation. Everyone has been hiring Alabama guys because of their success under Saban, and now they have to replace nearly the entire thing. And now you’re dealing with NIL where they can now leave because they’re not playing for a coach that recruited them. Ideally for other programs, yes it’s time to strike and get in front of Alabama. It called to question though why Alabama had to go outside their program to find the next guy, and went to one that isn’t really connected to the SEC.

It’s a credit to a program like Oregon that they’ve maintained their status as a top 10-15 team every year while constantly losing their coaches.
