The Herm Edwards era was sorta their best length of being a good team.

They had a few good teams but the change happened under Mangini with his drafting, Rex inherited a really talented group and finally made them respectable. Think he's eaten his humble pie and is now focussed on playing QB and winning vs trying to win an MVP. That talk is now dead. What Russ gives you is more intermediate to deep throws. Still has his issues in the shorter routes over the middle due to his height and not as mobile as Fields.
