I’ll tell you one narrative that has to absolutely die after 8 minutes of Arizona playing today….that the Buffalo secondary was going to take a giant step back. Never made sense. People too locked in on names and not age curves. Benford and Douglas were the outside DBs already but people pretending Tre White coming off two major injuries barely playing for three years was a loss. Hyde and Poyer rarely played together due to injury for the last two years already…and got old. Hell…Taron Johnson has barely played this season with an early injury and Cam Lewis just slid right in. Tyreek and MHJ completely shut down. Go off against other opponents.

A lesson in listening to the national media when they talk about “losing” aging, injured stars.
