Starting to look like the 1 PM window on Sunday might be complete ass. Assuming that DET/MIN is a mortal lock for the Sunday night game...........

There's exactly 2 NFC games that mean anything, and exactly 3 AFC games.
Sat
CLE/BAL
CIN/PIT

SUN

CBS
NYG-PHL
BUF/NE
HOU/TEN
CAR/ATL***

FOX
WAS/DAL^^
CHI/GB^^
JAX/IND
NO/TB***

CBS 425
KC/DEN
LAC/LV

FOX 425
MIA/JETS
SF/AZ
SEA/RAMS

NBC MIN/DET

Thoughts---

was and GB should be on opposite networks like buf/ne to fox bring was or GB over to cbs
*** for division
^^ for seeding

IF PIT wins, LAC rest starters because #6 is locked
If TB W then rams play for #3, otherwise they rest players.

I can't believe they really put the AFC North separate on Saturday. If the Ravens win, Steelers have an interesting choice: rest up and prepare for a rematch against the Ravens (assuming Chargers will win), or go all out to get the 5 seed and a date with Houston knowing you could still lose and end up against the Ravens anyways

Such a boon to the Bengals too. If the Steelers choose to rest, makes their path easier.

I think the thinking is there's such a gap between the #1-#3 and Houston that Pittsburgh will want to play for the #5 seed even if Baltimore wins.

And let's be honest, even if they played at the same time, Pittsburgh's likely looking at the calculus and thinking Cleveland has very little shot anyway - they've been garbage for the last 4-5 weeks and Baltimore's gonna be looking for revenge at home. If Baltimore got up a couple of scores quickly they could have pulled the plug anyway (if they don't care about the 5 vs the 6 seed).

Great catch by Ertz to win it in OT. Daniels this good, this early is scary.
Ertz coming through with 25pts may have won me my championship. I'm down 10 with Gibbs left to play. Fingers crossed!

Reminds me of the Stroud Hype after one season, but I’d give it to Daniels, he seems more clutch. Glad he’s in the NFC.
I won't buy too much into the hype until he's proven it for a few years, but Daniels seems to be playing at a tier or two higher than Stroud was last year.

yeah, I think Lamar is gonna win MVP. His numbers are too good. His QB rating is out of this world. Total TD's between the 2 guys is close, but Lamar still comes up on top in that metric too.

I wonder what standard they applied last year for the MVP race. Surely wasn’t stats last year. But who cares, they can keep changing the standards to prop up Lamar, he isn’t in the same tier as Allen no matter how badly they want him to be.

(Last year all we heard about was that even though his stats were mediocre, he was the QB of a top team and had amazing prime time games down the stretch. Now that Allen’s team is above them in the standings, and it was Allen who had incredible performances against the chiefs and lions…)

I think him playing next week in a meaningful game is going to make the difference in the race. I think if they win and therefore win the division I think he gets it. If they lose and he looks bad in the loss I think it’ll swing Allen’s way. But odds are they win with who their opponent is.

I dunno. Lamar had the better supporting cast + Id assume Allen has sat more 4th quarters. I think it's close. They were both great this season.

I'd still vote for Allen based on the perceived supporting cast going into the season. Just a year ago national media members (eg Greg Cosell) were making comments that we had the worst supporting cast in the league and we got rid of a bunch of guys from that unit. What Allen has done to elevate everyone around him is incredible.

I also think Henry steals some votes from Lamar.

Honestly, if Cincy sneaks into that last playoff spot I'd vote for Burrow over Lamar.

I'm not trying to take anything away from Lamar, I've always been a huge supporter. But based on numbers alone you could make a case for 5 guys in Allen, Lamar, Burrow, Barkley, and Henry. Beyond the numbers I think Allen has done more with less than the others on the list.

stomach of giant parasitic worm
the press complaining about D after we clinched weeks ago are idiots ..

we played simple no scheme and probably even beat the Rams looking as b.s. penalties and Josh surfing ram defender in td that was ruled out and you all stoned McD who rescued this season w beane Babich Brady and Josh w the cape .

relax , belief is everything ..

bring on anyone into rich stadium, Cincy , Denver balt Miami and even w the refs and league against us at KC

I trust McD and two newly seasoned coordinators to go head to head scheme at least equally w anyone

w that Josh guy as the difference w Dawkins and that line , Cook and two great backs Cooper and Coleman great outsides and shakir w Kincaid and Knox

On D chill

Milano and a seasoned Dorian are matchup problems and will stop the run w Bernard healthy

Oliver has been playing possum and Rousseau epenesa and a von Miller getting hit and jostled and finally over his injury THINK THE FIRST GAME against Rams w von our d looked unstoppable two years now

all the backups have serious time in the McD system and are possibly healthy for the playoffs in BUFFALO and a year or two of experience playing well aside from Ravens .

and our backups are Matt Milano and Hyde and people are worried a d or scheme against anyone? really?
..im not saying anything in clown world WWE niffle league but c'mon you all should have some belief we may be CAPABLE OF WINNING TWO THREE FOUR IN row

at least admit it's distinctly possible just on D

WHATEVER happens f it but we couldn't be more prepared and more of a team
