Bills finish 8-0 at Highmark this season

3rd time they score 40 this season

12th time they scored over 30 pts this season

per Brownie wgr

Did what they needed to do and clinched the 2 seed. Much better than last week. One more regular season game and a loss really doesn’t do much except hurt the Patriots draft pick.
and avoided major injuries!
Anderson was banged up (ankle), came back in, then went out again with Shoulder or Stinger

Pulling hard for ABC (anyone but Cincy) as the 7 seed. I don’t love the idea of trying to win in a shootout, and Chase and Higgins are the exact type of WRs who consistently roast our DBs.

Denver is a little concerning with how good their defense is and their ability to create explosives, but I’d trust McD and Babich to get Nix to throw a couple INTs and confuse him to limit his overall production. It looks like Miami will be limping in if they make it at all. Not sure if Indy even has a path in anymore after their loss today or if they can still squeak in with 8 wins if no one else in that pack gets to 9.

EDIT: Saw Indy is out with that loss today. Would much prefer one of MIA/DEN over CIN. Go Steelers and Broncos next week

Im still a bit confused that some posters dont think Allen and Lamar are neck and neck as far as caliber of players. Lamar doesnt have Allen's peak performances, but I do think he's a bit more consistent and doesnt have Allen's lows (like the HOU game), though Allen has improved leaps and bounds this year with consistency. Honestly, unless Allen goes off these next two games- I think Lamar wins another MVP. And in a league where narratives are made on hardware, it's going to be tough for me to justify Allen>Lamar. I just wish Lamar was in the NFC. He's so fun to watch. And, Im thrilled to have a QB that's consistently in the MVP conversation.

*I say all this knowing the Henry has had a big impact on Lamar this season*
The Ravens lost to the Raiders and the Browns....Lamar's lows always come in the playoffs. Unlike the Bills the Ravens constantly have to play their starters the entire game while the Bills have sat Allen numerous times this season because they aren't trying to inflate his numbers when the Bills already have a 30 point lead.

Pretty good outcome on the Bills' side of things.

We got up on the Jets early enough that Allen was able to take part of the game off, he had another 3 TD / 0 TO game to give him 40 on the season, and nobody was seriously hurt.

The refs, though... these guys need to chill. I get it if the infractions are serious, and obvious. But some of these are sketchy, at best, and others had no being called at all (like an illegal formation on a kickoff that went nowhere when the score was 40 to 0.)

Assuming miami wins....

Den W or T and they are in
DEN-MIA-CIN
L-W-W Miami
L-L-W Cincy
L-W-L MIA
L-L-L DEN

Rams to clinch Div before next week they need a few teams to W and a few to L.

MIN W is one of them

A MIN win means MIN-DET is on NBC next week

SEA-Rams probably play on Sat

Other games for Saturday are
ATL-CAR if ATL W tonight-' then they W for div
CLE-BAL BAL W for div
PIT and LAC at same time for WC position. Also DEN game at same time
If ATL W then WAS and TB at same time.

So sorting this out:

KC, Buffalo, and Houston are locked into their seeds (1, 2, 4).

Baltimore will be either 3 or 5. They have a H2H tiebreak on LA so they can't fall below them.

Pittsburgh will be either 3, 5, or 6. They can fall below LA on record but own tiebreakers over both LA and Denver, so they can't fall to 7.

LA will be either 5 or 6. They'll get 5 with a win + Pittsburgh loss, otherwise they'll be the 6. They have tiebreaker over Denver, but not Pittsburgh.

Denver/Miami/Cincinnati will be 7.

So when do they release next week’s schedule? Probably after the SNF game? The picture of what games are going to be important should be very clear by then.
Looking very much like Vikings/Lions will be the SNF game.

Rams/Seahawks could be on Saturday. Still very possible for the Rams to clinch the title this week, but in the event they don't playing it BEFORE games which can impact SOV makes sense. Even if the Rams clinch the division, the difference between the 3 and 4 seeds could be at stake.

Eagles/Giants could be on Saturday if they want to highlight Saquon chasing the record, but there's also a chance Saquon doesn't play...

Chargers/Raiders as a game that can affect seeding but nothing else could be a Saturday game, as could Packers/Bears, but those games probably aren't interesting.

I think we'll know the primetime games tonight, and probably most of the Sunday timings, though things could still get flexed tomorrow.

Will fix everything
That really felt more like the jets pooping their own pants than a blowout win by the bills. The defense made adjustments in the second half sure but still plenty to worry about. If not for a rodgers terrible decision on that early 3rd and 1 and a deflection for int, this is a much different game.

Remember when most thought the Vikings draft pick was going to be in the top third or quarter of the second round? Good times, good times indeed, lol. All the respect in the world to the Vikings players and staff.

Yeah, with the Vikings winning today.....I gotta think MIN/DET gets the SNF game.

I wonder if maybe they do an NFC South doubleheader on Saturday -- the win and in team plays (ATL if they win, TB if ATL loses) the later game while the other team plays the earlier game. Hell, if ATL wins tonight, that DAL/WSH game is meaningful.

And then I wonder if they do DEN/KC, CIN/PIT and MIA/NYJ all simultaneously in the 4 PM window.

I'm gonna whisper something because I don't know that I'm right but...

Milano has lost a step.

He got the fumble recovery but he looked a lot slower again today when dropping back into coverage.

I don’t think he’s at 100% yet, which is why they’ve been limiting his snaps. Hopefully he can use next week to rest up and be good for the playoffs.

If he looks like this at the start of next year, THEN I'll worry that his legs have permanently left him. Otherwise, I'm believing that he's rusty as hell and still getting back into game shape.
