Something needs to be done about the division winners seeding in the future. The Bucs, Eagles and Rams are all ass and are going to be hosting a playoff game while a 14-3 team does not
They should go to a points system to avoid this, but this is the nexus of the fake parity the NFL has.

Also there are too many bad teams.

Since starting the season 2-2, the Eagles have won 11 of their last 12 games, losing only to playoff-bound Washington by a late touchdown. Please explain how they are "ass".

Win your division and it’s not a problem.
One of those 2 clubs will have lost 1 more game than the division winner. Min would have been swept by Det. Or Det would have lost one more game than Min. Besides, if you are a very strong WC1 team you are expected to go on the road and beat Seed 4. I would expect the AFC North loser/or chargers to be favored over Houston. Same with Det/Min favored over TB/Atl.

No matter what your record is, it's still hard to win your division, unless you're a truly elite organization that does it every year. You obviously want your home games, but it's not that big of an advantage as people think. Matchups are way more important. Anyone can win anywhere for any reason.

Thems the breaks. The one year Columbus was actually good and finished fourth in the entire league in points, they started the playoffs on the road because Washington and Pittsburgh had more

Everything is fluid.

Detroit finished 12-5 last year and they were the #3 seed. San Francisco and Dallas, the top seeds, had the same record.

This year, both Washington and Green Bay have a chance to finish at 12-5. While fighting each other for the 6th and 7th playoff spot.

I feel like theres at least one putrid division every year that has no business hosting a playoff game. Want to give the division winner a guaranteed playoff spot? I'm fine with that, but the better record should be hosting the game. It's one of the few things the NBA does right.

It makes sense conceptually more in a longer season. In a NFL season, you may run into that. You also may run into a one game difference scenario that could be seen as just as unfair depending on strength of schedules. Emphasizing division play is a much better solution. So, win your division. If you can’t beat a team that has 4 or 5 fewer wins just because it’s on their field, then you’re not good enough.

TB also did beat Det on the road this season. Rams beat Min at home on that missed faced mask but were the better team most of the game. So nothing is a given in the nfl.

I think it's funny the announcers were baffled by Purdy's injury when it showed clearly the guy's grill smashing into his elbow right where the nerve is. Good news is that it wasn't major.

Tanner McKee contributed to more touchdowns in a quarter plus than Dallas did in their two games against the Eagles 😂. The margin of victory of 62 was the second largest ever and the 1st was in 1969. If anyone knows about being ass, it's the Cowboys 😂😂😂.

Here is your stat of the day: Josh Allen has the most total TDs in a players first eight seasons in NFL history.

This is his seventh season.
