For sure. When you get to the point that you need ten other things to happen in order to make the playoffs, you probably weren't a playoff team in the first place.

Mike Mac got some good things going, take it into next year and improve some more. As for Geno, I'm not sure if there's a better option in the near term.
The 2 prior seasons in the nfc, 9-8 with tie breakers got your WC3. So Seattle could finish 10-7 and miss. AFC, WC3 if Denver wins would be 10-7. If they lose then it’s 9-8 with tie breakers.

Typically safe to be a PO if you win 10. But with 17 games not as assured. Just how it goes some years.

Defense needs to still be better vs the run. OL needs to get better. QB needs to cut down on RZ TO.

Again. Is Minny willing to shell out 30-40 a year for a back-up? If that’s not the plan, how long do you keep your 5th overall on the bench? I guess it depends on what Darnold values more - a chance to win or a massive payday. Even with JJ’s rookie deal I’m sure Minnesota would rather take advantage of his rather low hit and allocate funds elsewhere, especially since RB is gonna be a need and Addison isn’t far from needing a new deal.
Going to be a very interesting negotiation between Darnold and Minny. If they believe in McCarthy, and unfortunately they didn’t get much look at him in practice due to his knee injury, have to run with him. They get out from under the cousins dead cap in 2025. So, have to decide what to do.

That Giants game really hurt the Seahawks, they were just awful that day.

Always worry about those cross country flights home after a MNF game. Kind of wonder for the lions tonight va SF in what is a meaningless game for them when everything is on the line vs the Vikings. Short week and a long flight home. Game will end before 9 local time. If they leave the stadium at 10 and get to the airport by 10:30 looking at a 4 hour flight home. Would be like 6am or something EST when they get in on Tuesday mending. Lila Tuesday for anything.

As if the concussions weren't bad enough, Tua now has a concerning hip injury as well? The hip is what could've derailed his NFL career before it even began.

f***ing Tua, man. Always something.

The hip is just as concerning as the head injuries because i'm assuming it's the same one he needed surgery on in college. Medical science has come a long way but the hip is still one of the few things we don't have a definitive answer for when it comes to athletics. If it goes, so does your career usually.

I'm so over this. Why the big mystery? Just tell us what the situation is because Tua is getting raked over the coals by the fanbase when he clearly 1) got thru the 49ers game just fine and 2) told multiple players last week he fully intended to play and that this was your typical late season bumps & bruises. This medical staff continues to be afraid of its own shadow because of the grief they got last year when Tua played after that supposed Buffalo concussion.

Then again its gonna be below 40 on Sunday and we all know what that means. :eyeroll:

I'm over it at this point. The Dolphins as they are currently constructed aren't winning anything.

"But they're 6-2 since Tua came back!" Uh huh, and who have they beaten in that window? They couldn't even beat a clearly f***ed up Texans team.

Fraud ass team as usual. They played 6 games against teams that are going to finish above 500. They went 1-5. Again.

Tyreek is still really good. With the shitshow at QB he's only 30 or so yards off of 1000. He essentially didn't play 6 games.

Might be worth checking the trade market to see if there's any takers.

It's just really unfortunate. It can never be an ankle, finger, or even an MCL. It's the worst looking concussions with the fencing posture and now potentially an injury to his surgically repaired hip. Injuries that have you questioning his future in the league. Just brutal luck for him.

Today I learned that the Bills receiving TD leader this year is Mack Hollins.

With 5.

Allen should win two MVPs.

Statistical anomaly is a good way to describe the offensive production, one player has maybe NEVER been as responsible for a higher percentage of success than Josh Allen this year. If you don’t agree…you should have to trade your teams weapons with his in real life. f*** around and find out.

Hip injury is what finally did in Nadal.

It always irritates me when people discredit Allen's rushing TD. He is just finishing the drives that he has put us in scoring position for in the first place. It's not like he is some useless FB that they only bring in to score from the goal line . He is the reason that we're even in that position to begin with.
Jumping back to this. If he's "poaching" TDs from anyone, it's short TDs from receivers.

For example, Burrow has 21 TDs thrown from inside the 5. Allen has 7. If you expand that to <=10 yards Burrow has 23 to Allen's 11. Jackson is at 17.

The Bills are just way more likely to use the rush when they're in goal to go situations which means that they're getting way fewer passing TDs in close than other top passing TD teams are.

Won my fantasy keague scoring title with that Jameson Williams TD.

Need Gibbs, LaPorta, Williams to score two more TDs than Kittle the rest of the game to win our playoff championship.
