- Rangers went 55-23-4 and lost in ECF to Panthers in 6 games
- Islanders went 39-27-16 and lost to Hurricanes in 1st round in 5 games
- Yankees went 94-68 (1st place) and lost World Series in 5 to Dodgers
- Mets went 89-73 and lost NLCS in 6 games to Dodgers
- Knicks went 50-32 and lost in semi's in 7 games to Pacers
