His interceptions were rough, but man, Jayden Daniels just carried the Commanders today, he’s an incredible talent even in his first year.
The second INT was more excusable as a rookie QB because that was a case of him trying to do too much under pressure and trying to play hero ball.

The first was inexcusable. He wasn't under pressure and had a wide open receiver and just overthrew him by 10+ yards.

The natural order is restored, as a cat devours a bird with no mercy.

You still only have one trophy in that trophy case.
Who gives a crap about trophies from over 40 years ago. Typing like a Leafs supporter. I like the Flyers and idgaf about their last cup which will be at least 50 years ago.

We sure love starting off like shit on D. Injuries be damned. That said we beat the Lions last week with the same people out so there is absolutely no excuse to lose against the Patriots.

So we’ve got the best years for WFT and Detroit since at least that long.

Good for WFT too to get a big win, even if Hurts was out. Would be fun to see that game again with Daniels healthier.
I'm too experienced as a WSH fan to ever believe that misfortune doesn't barge in through the door at some point, even if Jayden D definitely appears different from the past attempts, like RGIII's rookie year.

This just an NFC East meeting, and I'm the Commanders.

Didn't we crash you guys a couple years ago with Taylor Heinicke? That's more recent than your Super Bowl. :naughty:
Nicky S. is not the same and hasn't done anything to show he can last down the stretch. ;)

That's where Hollins limitations as a receiver come out. He needed to drive back towards the ball, not just stop and post up. Made it too easy for the defender to break on the pass and knock it down.

I wanted Nick sacked last offseason and still wouldn't mind if he goes.

I'm not as concerned as others are about Detroit going on the road. But when you're leading the league in injuries, Detroit needs home field.
It's more about getting an extra week of rest and another game where a team could lose. If the NFL didn't do the money grab and add extra team I would basically be at 0 at this Eagles loss. Now I'm at 25.
