The doghouse
I don’t know how in the world you get down to the one with all three timeouts and then use one. It’s mind boggling.

Kicking off and getting a three and out is wayyyy better odds than an onside kick. Even as bad as the defense was today. Really bad decision to run the ball at the goal-line.

Two of our three losses have been games where my non-bills fan friends all text me asking what in the word the playcalling was to end the game

Unless Allen decided to shift into that run, which he very well might have, Brady needs to not put them in that situation and McDermott needs to let them get up and spike

Ultimately the difference was special teams. Plays like that swing games. We were a little fortunate they didn't cost us against Arizona week 1
It would have been nice to break up a couple of those contested catches. It's tough when they're calling PI on every incomplete. Really neutralizes our physical corners

Difference was our defense couldn't make a stop if their life depended on it. Had the punt block not happened, we still lose because their offense marches right down the field on the next drive and score anyways.

I’m still mind blown by the OPI that wasn’t called on the last rams TD. They NEVER let that go when it is that flagrant.

After such a ticky tack 3rd down DPI that’s insane

Even with the big games from cupp and nakua, this is a lot of tape on how to run them over and exploit the zone. Gotta tighten up

I mean....it's a pretty open secret how you beat a zone. If it was as easy as the Rams made it look, literally everyone would do it.

The only team that has a duo of WRs as good as Kupp and Nacua is Philly with Smith and Brown. But even still, they're a different type of beast. Kupp and Nacua are two of the best zone-beaters in the NFL.

If teams try what the Rams did against us.....the success won't be there, as other teams don't have Kupp and Nacua.....and Kyren Williams to run the ball......and Stafford to throw the ball.

Will fix everything
I think everyone needs to take a breath.

LA was desperate, they have the best offensive mind in the league on their team, and this was a regular season game.

A f***ing heroic effort by Josh, for sure. And wasted on a pathetic effort on defense.

I think the team looked past the Rams and got shredded for it.

Sometimes, a team is just gets stupid hot. LA going 30% on 3rd downs the rest of the season and going like 11/15 (and 90% going into the 4th)

Learn from it, and get ready, because we're facing the best offense in the NFL next week. This is what good teams do, get punched in the mouth and punch a team in the mouth next week.

Yeah it was a little glib but I meant more our specific tendencies and quirks all failing at once

I think of potential first round opponents Baltimore and LAC *could* do it but their coaching is inferior

Of all the teams in the NFL.....the two that our defense matches up worst with specifically are the Rams and the Eagles. Lions aren't terribly far behind, but they don't have that 2nd legit WR threat and LaPorta has been terribly inconsistent this year.

Chargers don't have the WRs to beat us. Like at all.
Ravens can....and hell, they already did once....but playoff Ravens are a different bird.

I think I’m afraid of Herbert elevating his guys if he’s playing at his peak. Maybe it’s Bills Fan Syndrome where I expect the worst lol

Also ugh that missed false start is crazy given the time and situation

Maybe they gave us a friendly game after that as a makeup but it was pretty much over then
