In terms of OSU, Eleven Warriors might be even worse than Bucknuts. Had no idea that site even existed until last year.

I have never been a fan who wants my own opinion validated, so fortunately I have no desire to post on a specific team board. While there are those types here, I really think we have a great group in general.

Still think the way the BYEs are done is stupid.

Want to give 4+1 conference winners an automatic playoff spot, fine. But teams like Ohio St and Penn State get screwed by being in mega conferences.

Is it even possible for Notre Dame to ever get the BYE?

I also think not re-seeding is dumb. I think I mentioned that previously. These leagues want everything to be like March Madness, with clean brackets and also put way too much stock into geographical (well not so much anymore, but you know what I mean lol) grouping.

If Notre Dame ever wants to join a conference for football, then they will be eligible for a top 4 seed and a bye. Until then, the 5 seed is as high as they can go. There are some weaknesses to the format, but it's still better imo than either the 4 team format or the BCS system.
