I don’t know how to judge effort on that playing surface. You can’t confidently run…which puts the offense at a big advantage. It’s why both teams could run so effectively. Passing games? You’re just chucking and hoping no one falls down. The two QBs threw for less than 250 combined. You just couldn’t really trust it.

As someone mentioned this field isn’t like the snow game we had last week. It’s not heated. There is no grip. You get snow stuck in your cleats and you are skating out there until you can get to the sideline to change them or chip it out. Heated fields cover in snow but you step on it and it evaporates. Buffalo won’t that until the new stadium is operational. This was backyard ball in sneakers.

They had some nextgen stats during the game that told the story. Slowest route running of the year. Slowest pass rushing of the year. I think the teams combined for maybe one sack. You just tried to stay in your lane and hope. As someone who has walked around Buffalo during snow…you ain’t going nowhere fast.

Deebo has been the biggest disappointment of the season for me. The fact that he went after the long snapper makes it even worse. It was a terrible look for locker room culture, and it's even bad because Deebo has sucked this year.
Deebo per Spotrac is a large dead cap charge to SF. Pushed a lot of money into future (voided) years. Still over $31 mill in dead cap. They did a restructure on his deal in 2023 and 2024 to convert base salary into bonuses. Pushed $16 mill of salary into future years in 2024 and $7.4 mill from 2023. Plus his remaining $9.6 mill in SB salary.

SF weapons, major questions going into 2025. Aiyuk will be coming off an ACL. CMC coming off a sore achillies and PCL. Kittle another year old with his physical play. Deebo another year older and going into the final year of his deal.

If the Broncos lose tonight then that game in 2 weeks vs the Colts will be gigantic. I don't know who the Colts have next week but if they win while Denver is on the bye then the Broncos are going to start sweating.

I’m on the side of the defensive player with regards to Trevor lawrence

He admits he knows about the 1st down location and so does Lawrence

He was still upright at a point he thinks he is going for the marker when he commits to the hit

Oh awesome. The TNF game this week is Packers/Lions. That should be a good one. And I got the answer from my earlier question. Both the Colts and Broncos are both on a bye this week ahead of their matchup the week after. Don't think I remember the last time that 2 teams faced each other coming off a bye for both ,though I'm sure it happens more than it seems.

Winston has thrown for more yards in this half than both QBs combined for in the snow last night. And it doesn’t even count the 70 he threw to Denver.

How can you not want to watch Winston play every week? How did they subject us to Watson for so long?
