Bears tank job is too late, there are teams well ahead of em
Would take a lot to end up with a really high draft pick, but the Bears have a really tough schedule remaining.

On the other hand, at some point Eberflus will run out of hilarious ways to lose games, so who knows.

The Bills D lead the league in turnovers and have been top 5 for basically 5 years now....Allen is a big reason the offense is great but he can't control what the defense does.
I get where you're coming from and we can agree to disagree but I've seen the same problems year after year. His D wilts when it matters the most. That is one if the biggest reasons why I'm disillusioned by McD. Ultimately, he is the one in charge and there have been way too many times where the D has played beyond soft in clutch moments ( regular season included ) . That and his horrendous time management infuriate me . . Funny thing is, that I believe if the D was healthy last year we would've beat KC ( or at least made a additional stop or two) but that's about the only playoff loss that I'll be lenient on.

If we get bounced in the Divisional round again then he needs to go.

Tanking in NFL is stupid talk. Coaches get fired after bad seasons.
53 man roster always turns over. Can be low in which 40 or so return as you add new draft picks and a couple of free agent signings or PS guys make the main roster next season.
The teams that had bad records, likely half that 53 man roster is getting turned over. So, very few players are going to see that benefit of a higher draft pick.

Take the Raiders, the guys who would see the benefit of a tank are: Crosby, Wilkins, Bennett on D, with Powers-Johnson, Bowers, Glaze, and then maybe Mayer and Parham. Basically, anyone who isn't a lock to get a good legit contract offer from LV has no benefit. Those who have done well enough to get a good deal on the open market, like a Moehrig, Spillane, Deablo, Hobbs, etc. may want to go elsewhere.

Playing catch up here with the early game. Wow. Some of the dumbest **** I've seen. Blame all around for the HC, OC, and QB. Don't care if it's a rookie QB, the casual nonchalant approach was crazy to see. Then the ball isn't even thrown into the end zone when it was clear that was the last play. Unbelievable.

Ryan Poles traded a 4th round pick for a guard with an arthritic shoulder to play center this season, and I still think that trade beats out both Mingo for a 4th and Trey Lance for a 4th.

I had to leave to drive to thanksgiving dinner after the Bears last TD so could only look at the box score.

I was so confused seeing how they had a first and 10 from the Detroit 25 with 46 seconds left and 2 timeouts and they only ran another 3 plays in the game and didn’t kick a field goal.

Completely insane.

So you think Eberflus' plan is to lose on purpose so the team has a better chance to win next year after he's been fired for losing too much. Makes sense.
Well, the coach who tanked for Mario Lemieux suffered the same fate. The owners dictate the terms

. If the Titans and Jets intend to try winning, the Bears could get a 5-7 overall.

The Bears are underperforming their points differential, which is close to 0. So they are an 8-9 win pretending to be a suck team.

He may be getting undisclosed compensation for his pain.
