You've already won the game though. Under 5 minutes. It's a bitch move by the Packers.
It’s not. As you can drain over 2 minutes off the clock as you would use up the full 40 second play clock between plays so over 2:10 should come off the clock if you can’t convert another first.
If you punt SF is going to run more plays on that 2:10 than the 3 GB would run.

You actually think the 49ers have enough time to score three touchdowns just to tie it with only 5:00 left? lmao There's no need to punt there either. They were in FG range. It's a bitch move by the Packers.

Not a win/loss thing or score thing. GB wants the game to end faster. Keeping the ball does that. With 5 minutes to go, if GB can secure 2 firsts the game will be over in 8 plays or so.

They already won the game. End it faster? Not sure what you're on about. I was surprised they didn't start using their timeouts to get the ball back at the end there.

Need a big night from the Eagles offense tonight. Up a couple points. We each have three players left. I’m Philly stacked with Hurts, Brown and Goedert. Opponent has three going tomorrow with Lamar, Flowers and Dobbins.

Most of my roster has betrayed me but Jacobs day left me with a chance.

Ending the game faster means that the game clock continues to tick when GB has the ball as they are not throwing passes to risk incomplete passes to stop the clock, nor would they run out of bounds.
Assume each play takes 4 seconds to run. Time below is the game clock when ball is snapped.

5:00 4th down (go for and get first down)
4:16 1st down. Play clock will continue to run another 40 seconds after GB gets the first down when they would then have to snap the ball
3:32 2nd down
2:48 3rd down
2:04 4th down or 1st down.

If 4th down and short, go for it again. Game clock stops at 2 minutes. If they get the first down. Take 3 knees to end the game.

If 1st down just before 2 minutes. Run a regular play. Can even throw it since the game clock stops at 2 minutes anyways.
2:00 2nd down, can't just kneel out the game, so can either opt to run plays or just kneel on the ball
1:26 3rd down
0:42 4th down. Might end up giving the ball back to SF with under 40 seconds to go.

Eagles-Rams should be a pretty good game. Rams are fighting for their playoff hopes in a the dogfight that is the NFC West. Eagles are rolling right now, but are down DeVonta Smith.
