So does that mean he's off of IR? That would mean he likely wont miss more than 4 games, right?
They have a 21 day practice window to either activate Milano or he remains on IR for the rest of the season.
I think given what we've tried against the chiefs hasn't worked and we have a massive lead in the division, the Bills should do some crazy shit just to f*** with the Chiefs. I'm not sure what yet. But some next level head games stuff.
Haven't decided what yet. But care less about winning the game on Sunday, more about crawling inside of the Chiefs heads.
Maybe just rest the starters completely and say "well, its a long season and we need to get everyone involved, they can play our starters if they make the playoffs". Just some truly disrespectful and childish stuff.

A little redundant with Williams, but with as injured as the LB-core has been this year I wouldn't kick him out of Orchard Park.
Words can't express how much I hate that line of reasoning.
We have a hard enough time determining who is better between player A and player B, when they play the same position. The MVP award complicates matters, because it opens the set to all players across all positions. (Not complaining. Great players deserve recognition, because they're why we tune in every week.)
Voters then decided they were going to get cute, and change the criterion to something that can NEVER be proven or disproven. Now, we're trusting jackasses to accurately determine which player is best, relative to his supporting cast and competition. These clowns haven't even figured out that not all interceptions are created the same!
I swear, if these guys didn't get five votes, they'd struggle to get the right answer.

I can't believe I'm saying this given how annoyed I constantly was at him but I think he'd be a clear upgrade over Williams.
I wonder why they're cutting a starter. Does it give them comp pick relief? Similarly, does him getting cut potentially cause Samuel to negate the 5th we're projected to get for Flloyd?

There are rumblings out of the Seattle area that he wasn't happy that Jones was taking all of the playing time at MLB and didn't like playing WLB and the commensurate decrease in playing time that comes with that position out that way. They've also got some kids coming at WLB. Oh and also, apparently he sucked at stopping the run this year.
Either that or Seattle is getting ahead of another run-in with the law (no source, simply speculation....since he has had run-ins with the law before).

It’s a narrative award and the narrative is almost always set by the media (who are the voters). Typically it’s the best stat qb on the best team. Usually need 1-2 highly televised command performances. Last year the ravens destroying the 49ers on national tv was what won the award.
JA’s only hope is really to have two very strong games against the Chiefs and the Lions and finish close to the top of the league in the counting stats.

The comp pick part does concern me, I'm not sure when the cutoff is for those to lock in (was hoping the trade deadline). But I think if someone claims him that should keep him as part of the formula?

I keep watching this play over and over again and don't understand why Hamlin isn't seemingly getting any competition for his starting spot.
He loves to run in a U pattern on a big run. Just casually running up to the LOS, doing nothing, and then running backwards to try and catch up to the play.

For all the concerns about the Bills defense against the run, they did a great job outside of the one big run because Casey Toohill got sealed and Bernard and Hamlin filled to the inside and Taylor popped it outside.

Because he almost died so we're gonna let him remain a starter on a playoff team when he clearly hasn't and has never shown hes good enough. He got a few lucky picks though so people think that's worth him bringing absolutely nothing to the table.

The reason Damar is starting has literally nothing to do with what happened to him in Cincinnati. Beane drafted Bishop and brought in Mike Edwards to compete with Damar and Rapp for the two starting positions. Damar won the competition (thanks to injuries). That doesn't mean he SHOULD be a starter, it just means he's the best we've got currently.
Hopefully we upgrade that position in the offseason (my guess is that Bishop progresses and takes the reins)
