So what's the problem then? Recievers can't catch the ball and the Defense is giving up a lot of points. They already changed the coach and that didn't seem to help.

Literally almost everything, the team/org as a whole is just a disaster. That's not to say he can't be better, but QB play simply isn't sinking the team. It's clear as day if you watch the team this season.

Above average QB play isn't going to do anything for this team right now when they fail in every phase and situation.

The issue is that they made the entire organization around getting Rodgers and making him happy. It's not like he's losing games all by himself, but the fact that they had to ditch so many things that made them a team means that everyone is performing under their potential.

The Jets have done a lot of things to make Rodgers happy including trading for his BFF. He is part of the problem

He is the problem

They basically build everything around Rodgers and what he wants/needs

Edit, I guess you could say that makes the owners a problem as well for allowing that to happen

Remember when all last season we heard they were a QB away?

Even an average would have made them a playoff team, now it’s always everyone else’s but Rodgers fault

No matter how many ex Packers players he gets, signings or different coaches. It’s always someone else

You can make that argument, that he influeced the team construction and decision making, so he bears responsibiliy for the general direction and trajectory of the team even if his on field performance is not the reason they are losing. And you'd probably be right to some degree.

But it's not like the Jets were some great org with great people and direction before him. So idk.

They also did it in the way where their future got thrown away

This is their all in window followed by darkness

I don't give a damn about last year...were talking about this year. Yes he bears responsibility for influencing the construction of the team.

His play @ QB isn't why their a losing team. An average QB isn't doing anything for this team, watch the games.

Where’s the leadership from Rodgers?

It’s me me me me for him and he’s running around ghe world while screaming to every other player that they need to be all about winning

Well he hasn’t been playing like an average QB, he’s been abysmal

The locker room seems toxic, he’s gotten all his friends there, changed coaches

Still …. results but they aren’t on him?

Darnold single handedly kept the Jags in a game they got absolutely dominated in today. 3 INTs inside the opponents 30. He needs to stop forcing it to Jefferson when he's not open.

John Parker Romo for MVP.

This was egregious. Imo, a 15 yd foul, ejection, suspension, and fine. Simply throwing bomb in the middle of a play. One landed solidly to Allen's head. This wasn't a heat of the moment thing, this was intentional and personal. 3 seconds after the play ends, he's pulling at Allen's facemask on the ground. He literally has no leg to stand on when the league gives him a call.
