Rodgers is the answer to why they were favorites.
This version of Rodgers sucks though.

I agree, though it's the aura of himThis version of Rodgers sucks though.

Arthur Juan Brown is a cheat code.

He’s not the problem.
Cards FG before half.
Jets had a chance with a win to be 1 game out of a WC berth and they are just a dead team walking today.
So what's the problem then? Recievers can't catch the ball and the Defense is giving up a lot of points. They already changed the coach and that didn't seem to help.
The issue is that they made the entire organization around getting Rodgers and making him happy. It's not like he's losing games all by himself, but the fact that they had to ditch so many things that made them a team means that everyone is performing under their potential.Literally almost everything, the team/org as a whole is just a disaster. That's not to say he can't be better, but QB play simply isn't sinking the team. It's clear as day if you watch the team this season.
Above average QB play isn't going to do anything for this team right now when they fail at every phase and situation.
The Jets have done a lot of things to make Rodgers happy including trading for his BFF. He is part of the problem

Uh oh. We'll see if he repeats what happened in the 2nd half last week.Rodgers last week at half: 7/14 for 32 yards.
Rodgers this week at half: 7/11 for 40 yards

Remember when all last season we heard they were a QB away?
Even an average would have made them a playoff team, now it’s always everyone else’s but Rodgers fault
No matter how many ex Packers players he gets, signings or different coaches. It’s always someone else
You can make that argument, that he influeced the team construction and decision making, so he bears responsibiliy for the general direction and trajectory of the team even if his on field performance is not the reason they are losing. And you'd probably be right to some degree.
But it's not like the Jets were some great org with great people and direction before him. So idk.
I don't give a damn about last year...were talking about this year. Yes he bears responsibility for influencing the construction of the team.
His play @ QB isn't why their a losing team. An average QB isn't doing anything for this team, watch the games.
This was egregious. Imo, a 15 yd foul, ejection, suspension, and fine. Simply throwing bomb in the middle of a play. One landed solidly to Allen's head. This wasn't a heat of the moment thing, this was intentional and personal. 3 seconds after the play ends, he's pulling at Allen's facemask on the ground. He literally has no leg to stand on when the league gives him a call.
