I know people have various definition of what a tank is but you can be on tank team and hoping that the team wins games and gets better. The point of a tank is to improve the team so the team got to improve at some point. I'm still on team tank and i hope we'll trade guys at the TDL. We can always add a vet or two next summer if needed those guys wont be around when the kids will be ready to contend anyway. What i like is we are winning with guys 26 and under our vets are playing a depth role for the most part so we are not trying to artificially win games.

Meh... MSL was laughed at by some when he said he could see the switch was about to flip.

KH saw that the roster could take a big step forward with minimal additions (whereas some posters were crying all summer that the likes of the Hawks & Preds had done way more to improve their rosters).

This isn't just luck and "stars aligning"... Much like Slaf's breakout last year, this is a very intentional, patient, and highly effective rebuild that is following the model of the best run high performance organizations on the planet.

They are getting the most important things right, and seem to have the resolve to be patient in trusting the process.

Future is bright 😎

(& We'll have more bad streaks before we firmly establish ourselves as an elite, cup contending roster, that's a given)

I'm talking about our recent success mainly. Because so far the season had been painful to watch. Then we got a bump with Laine. Then returned to normal. Then we got another bump with the addition of Carrier. And now we destroy three elite teams back to back.
