Eyeballs say Pulju should be a fixture on top 9, advanced stats say Pulju should be a fixture on top 9, Sullivan says he has buddies. Waive Pulju. Trade Pulju. It is embarrasing for an organisation to keep Pulju eating popcorn after all the work he put up after major surgery, when he clearly deserves to be playing over several meatheads Sullivan is gifting ice-time.

At least we are sometimes trying to screen the goalie on some of our countless shots from the point. This led to both of our goals. Would be nice if this weren't the go to tactic in attack but I guess I am expecting too much from our amazing coach.

Both teams with some laughable defense and going nowhere fast but the game was mildly entertaining. And we can all wish we had someone who loves us as much as the commentators love freaking Acciari, it's downright embarrassing how they won't stop gushing about this nobody. At least Lizotte is actually making a difference, Acciari is the new "Kunitz was there".

Graves could have just cleared the crease instead of letting Batherson do that but Graves is butter soff

Except Batherson was supposed to be handled by Gryz. Graves was in front of his guy and was pushed down to one knee, and the pass went through while Gryz was doing f*** all.

They both suck, Jarry could have poke checked the pass, graves could have battled harder and taken the pass, Gryz could have tried to do anything.

That goal is a textbook case of a team that doesn't have any defensive game plan and isn't coordinating. As a result, everyone kind of flails and trys to do too much of the wrong thing.

Absolutely, and no forwards pressuring to the outside allowing the ottawa player to just skate in and pass/shoot from wherever he wanted.

Who was the last coach who instilled proper defense? Johnston, Therrien?
I always thought that Martin did a pretty good job when he was in charge of the Defense

Or rather, when a team doesn't have dman willing to clear the front of the net.

I thought Graves had the guy in front of the net. Batherson was on the post scoring as Gizzlick just stood and watched.

That's a huge part of the problem too. But if you're going to forsake that physicality, you need to be playing well-oiled defense with everyone paying attention and we're clearly not doing it.

HC or AC? Martin got more out of a decimated blueline as an AC than we've gotten in a long time, but nobody's really run a coherent defensive style since maybe Johnston.

Yes sorry, AC
