im happy the 3 guys that should be staying with team for long time kadri, jvr, and rielly all looked very good
I agree with hayes -
Dion took a dumb penalty, and he didn't really "do" anything. he just hit him and Dion-smouldered at him. (and this goes back to what Babcock says that the ultimate thing was winning. let the clock/situation dictate your response). dumb penalty, powerplay goal, game over. take a number and pummel him later.
this isnt' taking away from his overall play - which has been good, but that was a selfish dumb dumb move.
So Froese... I don't think he is any better than Holland

"If" Price goes down the Habs will be exposed. No question he is the MVP again"Ifs" are not actual reality, just wishful thinking.
the fact that holland hasn't even looked much better than froese played this game is concerning, most expected a step forward for holland this year
DJ, Honestly I dont think anyone is missing Gunnar. But just pointing out the fact that Nonis traded for a worse player and even threw in a pick to boot.
I am sorry but the Red wings are horrible!!!!!!!

Funny what a difference a good coach makes.
They kept going on about Phaneuf's "bad penalty". All he did was go up the guy who just hit him and give a shove we saw 100 times tonight from every player on the ice. Weise faked a reaction and the referee bought it due to the circumstance.
Their loss is our gain. We are starting to play a solid possession game that is controlling the play. This system will pay off in the long run. Glad to have him.
Not even mad. It's all good.
I just hope we get to see a lot of trades sooner rather then later.

Holland started like garbage last season too. He picked it up in the 2nd month of the season.
