No GM is perfect by any means, but it's silly to think Lou somehow makes this team make it further. He probably makes the same moves that Dubas did near the trade deadline.

Assets out vs assets in?

Palmieri and Zajac have been exceptional, far greater than Foligno, Nash, Hutton and Riddick... and for far, far less.

Deadline deals probably aren’t the conversation you want to have.. like almost every other comparison, Dubas falls pretty hard on this one.

But those aren't comparable. Two different teams. I meant that Lou would have made similar moves for guys like Foligno, Nash and Rittich. Is that not reasonable had he still been here? He had no problem dealing picks for players.
