He must have been talking about the jerseys. 20 minutes of ugly.Nino said it was a bad period?
It wasnt perfect, but im not sure what you could complain about.

Here's my problem with this. No one liked the Whalers till after they moved. They had the smallest arena in the league and hardly ever filled it. The on ice history was even worse. Its a flat myth that Hartford supported this team.
Now once they left the Whale logo and team all of the sudden became some martyr in franchise moves
Though TBF, their team stank for years. Usually, similar to say, the Panthers before this year (perhaps), the egg comes before the chicken, and in this case the egg is a losing franchise.
Since we are doing jersey hot takes: I like these better than the red home ones and the old white road ones
True but they got more popular after they left. A big part of that was how close to ESPN they were and they got mentioned every 5 minutes on sports center after they left. Sports fans got on the band wagon and all of the sudden the "most popular team in the league" got unjustly moved to some po-dunk Hill Jack backwards southern town.
Just one of many reason the hate ESPN
Adidas.i actually think the unis look great up close, and think anyone wearing one in the stands when ever fans go back will make me jealous.
but they completely fail as an in-game item. white outlines would change that, but i doubt reebok cares.
There are innumerable reasons other than hockey to despise DSPN.See, that was way back when ESPN cared about hockey and when hockey fans cared about ESPN. Now we have our own resources like The Athletic that will cover us in depth, so there's no reason to hate those fools anymore.
I like Cspan...There are innumerable reasons other than hockey to despise DSPAN.
