For the first time really in 5 years I am single. Told myself last month if this relationship didnt improve and progress id be moving on. Got into an argument about nonsense last week. Havent talked since. Told her that her silence spoke volumes and I was done being lied too and sold dreams.

Hurts a bit thought I had my one but ill survive I always do

Were to go from here is a hard concept.

May not be with their mama but ill always have my girls
I'm so sorry to hear that. I wish you all the best for the future, sometimes it hurts to do the right thing but it sounds like it wasn't meant to be. I am glad you have your girls, best for them to have a happier environment.

Drove home from a friend's house tonight after dark, on a very curvy, very narrow country road. It was not fun. Driving at night has gotten very bad for me.

On the bright side, I didn't hit any deer, which are everywhere around here. In fact I just read that our local deer population is 2-4× the state average. :help:
I'm glad you are safe.

We hit a horse on a back road in remote Maine. It was the worst experience of my life. Pumpkin the horse did not make it and we had to meet the owner ;(

Stay true to yourself. I'm sorry tho, that sucks.

Played hockey last night for the first time since this happened 3 years ago, went ….better than expected, but mentally I don’t trust this ankle when I cut left - hard to say why eh?

Yikes good luck! I have the same sort of injury from a car accident in 2012... plates and screws in both sides starting from halfway up my shin... I tried skating ONCE in 2013 but I was terrified to 'brake' or stop like I was just worried my leg/ankle would just collapse sideways if I tried. I never tried again, can't believe it's been 10 years.

Poor Pumpkin! :( And I'm sure your car didn't look very good either. Hope nobody was hurt!

Today is my parents anniversary. 39 years! 43 years total together. I cannot fathom being with somebody that long  though, that's the dream and goal!

4 kids. 4 grandchildren. 3 here on earth.

Huge accomplishment, especially in today's world.

42 years and counting here.
I cant fathom with being with anyone else.

2 more rotations and Fred Richard is in 4th place. He was not the American that was expected to be in contention for an all around medal.

This was his stuck vault

Fred took a nasty fall off the high bar on a release move but he got back up, finished the routine and stuck the landing. Tough way to end a great day. He's ok thankfully and he will 100% be back in a position to win in the very near future.

Mine are still in. Just in case.

You never know, anymore.

True.

But since returning to MA 2 plus years ago and living in a "garden level" apt. in Watertown, I actually haven't needed AC. Which is great. Screw you, Eversource!

The Cave now has fibre- optic wifi....

I just bought Phantom of the Opera (2004) and watched it.....

...all is well with the world.....Thank the Maker....

Believe it or not, that was a favorite. Not an ALW fan, but I liked the film and watched it many times.

Awesome stuff. Me and the missus have been together for 32 years and counting, married for 28. Our 3 kids are in their 20's, but no serious prospects at the moment so no grandkids in sight. I'm not exactly in a rush to be called Grandpa.

same here. In total 45 years.
we started when I was 20 and she was 18.

a long, long time ago.

My condo is bottom floor, on a slab, only gets sun in the morning. My electric bill is more in the winter than the summer, and I have gas heat. The fan for the heat in winter uses more electricity than my AC in the summer, that's how little the AC gets used.

I always got Pfizer but tomorrow I am getting Moderna.

Anyone get this? Any bad reaction?

got it 3 weeks ago. Pfizer.

just a sore shoulder for a few days. Nothing else.

Glad I did. The Bride has not yet. She came home with covid last Wednesday from FLA.
We are staying in separate rooms since. Shes bern sick as a dog. The anti viral meds have helped.
