Nucks is done after the last blowout!

Only Skinner can keep it a close game 7 if back to giving up stinkers.

Nucks back to 15 shots a game after the last outlier, thats bubbleteam numbers.

Dallas will be a hard nut to crack, but Oilers match better against playing teams.

If Skinner gives away game 7, Nucks should forfeit instead of a coming slaughter who will erase every good memory of the playoffs.

Canucks have an excuse, the Oilers do not. Canucks are still an inexperienced group, first time in playoffs and have injuries to key players with their number 1 goalie being out for the whole playoffs. What is the Edmonton Oilers excuse if they lose this series??
For such a loud mouthpiece you've been literally the entire year you're already making pre-excuses. I don't think Ive seen a single Oiler fan on this board embarrass their fanbase the way you do constantly you spent the entire season talking about how the Canucks would run over the Oilers and now its the Canucks have an excuse time.

Both teams have posters like the ones you describe. You're just triggered lol . If Canucks win tomorrow we all know Oils excuse will be their goalie , gm, and Nurse .

Show some respect. This Canucks team, with their 3rd string goalie, who were never going to “make the playoffs” this year, took the “cup or bust” Oilers to game 7 with the result still undecided. At this stage there really should be some mutual respect, cut the bullshit and let’s see who shows up for game 7.

Whichever team signs martin gelinas before game 7 will win this game.

But the ultimate prize will be a swift ousting from the hands of the Dallas stars

Don't really understand this argument at all. Canucks best forward is 31 and aging. Boeser is a UFA in 1 year and is going to get a massive raise. 4 of their bottom 6 forwards are UFAs coming, many of which are coming off career years. 4 of their starting D are RFA or UFA and many in line for a massive raise. They're up against the cap with this roster despite most of these players on cheap deals. The caps going up but in 2025-26 and 26-27 the OEL buyout cap penalty jumps almost 3 mil to just under 5 mil.

People are kidding themselves if they think this Van team isn't also at a weird cross roads where they're about to be decimated on the depth side, and their stars outside of the aging Miller have barely shown up in the playoffs. This isn't some young team with locked in steal contracts who is just going to get better each year. They have a couple good prospects which might help but thats about their only hope of sustaining any of this depth in their lineup.

What I'm saying is regardless of what happens in game 7, the decisions for the Canucks are unlikely to change; whereas if the Oilers lose in round 2 again, there will be bigger decisions on what to do going forward. I'm not insulting the Oiler organization or its players, I'm pointing the obvious differences both these organizations face ahead of game 7 - cup or bust vs. house money.

As far as Vancouver's CAP moving forward there is less worry in Vancouver than there has been in the last 10 years. Patrik Alvin has had a fantastic year with an overachieving storyline. This management group has shown good tact and ability to pro scout. The team has a ton of CAP space available so whomever they decide to keep, chase, qualify, buyout, trade, etc isn't really what worries Canuck fans. There is more concern in Edmonton with Ken Holland.

Pretty serious medical stuff for someone so young. Hopefully it's something that can be solved fairly easily via medications.

Frederic Andersen had a blood clotting issue earlier this year and missed 4 months
Clots are tricky because you basically have to wait for them to dissipate, and everyone is different. It could be a couple of days, or much longer (speaking from experience). Most importantly, hope that he's OK and that it is not something serious - pulmonary embolism no bueno.

Obviously a big loss for the Canucks, but those that are counting them out based on this (from both fan bases) are idiots.
