Now this current rating system is based on one round so it’s even noisier and less informative than his usually useless rankings.

The worst part is that he isn't even a very good statistician. From what I can tell he basically copies models from other sports.

The fact that The Athletic leans on his stuff so heavily is downright lazy. It allows them to pump low quality content out. It's amazing how much better of a writer Drance is when he doesn't base the premise of a story off of Dom's model.

This series comes down to goaltending, special teams, and EP40. Our goaltending needs to be better than theirs. Special teams needs to find a way to saw things off in at least 4-5 games. And EP needs to go full Alien.

I'm calling Nucks in 6. But really, if a hockey fairy told you one second round series was going to be a blood bath, smart money would be on Edmonton kicking our teeth in.

And it might happen in a game or two. We get down a goal early, have to push for offense, and their speed on the counterattack takes advantage.

Going to need to shake off bad games, and win close ones. As long as we show up (and I fully expect we will) should be a fun series.

sorry in advance if this was already talked about. But why did we have to wait till the Vegas and Dallas series was finished b4 we knew the schedule?
