Theyre certainly not favorites vs Dallas, or Rangers, but against Vancouver they should be, theyve proven even less.

Why exactly, Oilers have proven jack shit and have a reputation of collapsing in the McDavid era. They finished ahead of us this year, beat us every game in the regular season. We have a few star players that get all the glory, the team itself never lives up to the hype. Oilers have all the pressure on them because of the hype and in that period they wilted. Pickard was phenomenal

Seriously. How do you get outworked so badly in a playoff game, a pivotal one at that. It's been an ongoing problem with this core, only showing up occasionally. The support players showed up today but the Oilers aren't beating a very good Canucks team on the road with only the support players showing up. This is quite likely the McDrai Oiler legacy on the line in this 3rd period, do they want to go out like THIS?

Worst period of the playoffs. They need to be 10 times better in the 3rd. McDavid needs to wake up.

Ok glad to know I'm not the only one. Very emotional games but f***.. mcdavid has been a complete and utter non factor this game.

That was a brutal period. Best thing about it is we're tied still because we don't deserve it after that debacle.

The cliche fits but the oilers need to bear down because to me they're playing scared.
